Otterkit sighed. "Yeah well I'll remember that next time," Otterkit grumbled lightly, but gave a grateful purr once they had gotten down. "And the name's Otterkit, but who're you?" The young tom asked with a curious gleam in his eye. He never really got to meet any cat that was new to his clan simply because he was so unused to actually being so outgoing. He hadn't even meant to get into that tree, he'd been outside the nursery when the monster had started to roar and instead of running into the nursery, his fear induced brain though it'd be best to go with those who'd climbed the tree too. Only problem was he'd gotten stuck out of a branch and couldn't get down.

DuskBlaze, after finally calming down had managed to climb down the tree and into camp once again. Shaking out her fur, the queen made her way to the a nearby bush with a sigh. She was tired from running so quickly like that and all she really wanted to do was take a long nap. Even without a nest, the ground felt better than anything. Too tired to even think of making a nest she curled up into a ball, closed her eyes and waited for sleep.

{They haven't returned to the [temporary] camp yet; they don't know if it's safe. So there's no nursery nearby. The camp's been half-flattened by the monster--I haven't decided if the nursery they've been using has been destroyed or not. ^^;}

[ Mhmmmm... Sorry for not posting yet. I've been stressed with swim team starting and school coming back up in a day or so. Weekends can do that to you. Anyway, I'll post later tonight. ]

[ I have a quick question for you guys. I've recently begun playing around with color codes, and I just designed a new color that's not in the spectrum given to us. What do you guys think of it? I might start typing in this custom color. ]

Name: Hookpaw(fang)
Age: 9 moons
Gender: Tom
Rank: Apprentice
Original Clan: FlameClan
Image/Description: Image
Personality (Optional): Hookpaw has a very short temper and a very fiery personality. He can be aggressive and doesn't take kindly to being ordered around. He is stubborn and independent.
History (Optional):

Name: Stormfly
Age: 16 moons
Gender: She-cat
Rank: Young warrior
Original Clan: StoneClan
Image/Description: Image
Personality (Optional): A bit skittish and defensive when you first meet her, but loyal and kind once she learns to trust you. She is easy-going and mature but is a bit too quick to suggest battle on possible threats.
History (Optional): She doesn't talk about it much.

Name: Gothi (Gote-hee, but said fast, like Godhee, and is one of those names that almost needs to be spoken in an Irish accent to sound proper)
Age: 36 moons
Gender: She-cat
Rank: Loner
Original Clan: RainClan
Image/Description: Image
Personality (Optional):Gothi is wise and kind, and very open-minded. She still believes in StarClan and speaks to them, although she preffered to stay on her own after her Clan was destroyed. She always likes to help Clan cats with any problems, though.
History (Optional): Gothi is mute and communicates through drawings and body language. A strange birth defect caused her to be unable to speak.

Hookpaw crawled slowly to the edge of his branch. He glared down in the direction the monster went, his pale eyes cold and narrow. "I swear to StarClan, if I ever get my paws on that monster, I'll rip out its hideos claws and teeth, one by one!"

Stormfly sighed. "No cat can destroy a monster, Hookpaw. Don't even think about trying. Now keep quiet, or it'll hear us!" She crouched even lower on the branch, flattened her ears, and narrowed her eyes, her tail flicking slowly with nervousness.

{Most cats are just under the tree now, and the monster's far enough away that they generally feel safe. ^^ I've updated the recent events, so that should be clearer now.}

Image
Eaglestar looked up at the sky; the sun was setting, and it would be dark soon. The leader jumped onto a low branch of the tree, and from there climbed higher until she found a suitable branch that stretched out over the crowd of cats below. She stalked out onto it, waving her long tail in order to keep her balance. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath this tree for a Clan meeting!" she called, her voice ringing out clearly.

Image
Pineclaw heard Eaglestar's call and looked up at her, though he didn't bother to move closer.

Image
Lightpaw gulped down the mouse she'd caught quickly. It was getting dark; she should get back to the others before anyone noticed she'd left. She hadn't exactly asked permission--but then again, who would she have asked? It wasn't worth bothering the leader or deputy about, and she didn't have a mentor anymore since the fire. She heard Eaglestar's voice, faintly, calling for a clan meeting. Hurriedly burying the remains of the mouse, the small apprentice ran back towards the tree.

Image
Leah, having stashed the stolen rabbit and herbs nearby, began pulling some grass together into a nest to spend the night. She was exhausted, having spent the day following the clan, avoiding being found by the clan cats, and nearly getting run over by that monster. But at least she wasn't hungry anymore, and the rabbit would last her a day or two more so long as it didn't go bad. She wasn't sure how old it had been when she'd picked it up. Having finished her nest, she walked over to examine the herbs she'd found. There was a yellow flowered one she recognized as being good for treating wounds, though she didn't know its name--she'd save that. The other leaves she didn't recognize. She'd thought they were raspberry leaves, but now that she thought of it there were no raspberry bushes this far out. Besides, the scent was different. Leah shrugged slightly. She'd figure it out later.
