Wavesplash shrugged, "We can go anywhere really." She mewed.

Springstar sat outside her den.

[Burning_fire]

Jaypool padded over to Springstar "good morning Springstar"

[donovan.]

"Morning Jaypool." Springstar smiled.

[Burning_fire]

Jaypool dipped his head to her respectfully then rose. "Are there any patrols I need to go on?"

[donovan.]

"No, not currently." Springstar signed softly. She stared silently at the ocean though the trees.

[Chickenpaste]

Finchclaw stood up with her and backed from the edge. He began to walk down the slope to the beach, when something in the corner of his eye jumped out at him.

"Finchclaw!" Echomoon pounced on the dark tabby passing. "How are you? What are you doing up on the cliffs on such a fine day?"

"Echomoon! Get off--" Finchclaw was cut off as the black tom pounced off and straight into Crystalnose.

"Hello!" Echomoon greeted loudly to the she-cat before him. "And what is such a lovely cat doing with such a dirty old tom?"

Finchclaw growled. Echomoon had mistaken him for two things: first of all, he was a fairly young warrior, and second of all, the only reason he was dirty was because Echomoon had pushed him into the dirt.

[donovan.]

Crystalnose growled at Echomoon. "Leave us alone. Finchclaw and I are talking." She stood beside Finchclaw protectively. She nuzzled him softly.

[Chickenpaste]

Finchclaw got up, unconciously pulling away from Crystalnose and towards Echomoon.

Echomoon posed, lifting his front leg. "Someone's angry. Calm down, Finchy." Out of no where, he kicked an egg to Finchclaw from the bushes.

Finchclaw almost fell over as the egg softly hit his paws. He looked at Echomoon and growled, "Finchclaw. Finch-claw!"

Echomoon laughed and just meowed, "Sure thing, Finchy. Now... How 'bout one for the lady?" He dragged from the bush a large fish and plopped it in front of Crystalnose.

Finchclaw growled even louder. He felt jealous, though he didn't know why. "Don't eat it, Crystalnose. You don't know where it's been," he sneered.

[donovan.]

Crystalnose flattened her ears, "Leave us alone Echomoon." She gladly kicked the egg and fish away. The she-cat stood by Finchclaw's side. "Or I'll have Springstar make you leave us alone." She said, unsheathing her claws.

[Chickenpaste]

Echomoon flinched for a second, then meowed solemnly, "Crystalnose, I have had a long attraction for you. Won't you be my mate?"

Finchclaw looked at him in disgust. Obviously he was faking it. Echomoon had never been reliable, not even to his own mother. He was a serious moocher and opertunist, and could never keep a relationship with just one she-cat. He yowled in anger. "That's enough, Echomoon! Get out of here and leave her alone!"

Echomoon sighed and looked down. His tail drooped, he walked away, hissing at Finchclaw.
