Cinder returned empty pawed, but her blue eyes lit up at the sight of the rabbit. Though it was think and puny, it was enough for the both of them. She smiled across at him, padding forward with her thick tail held high.

He smiled at Cinder and flicked his tail. "empty pawed? That's ok I got enough for both of us." he began "my strength is returning sorta" he bent dOwn and took a bite shivering at the rush of sweet tasting prey. 'oh this is delicious!! I wounder how things are in the clan without us... Does anyone even know we're gone?' questions spun through his mind as he took another bite.

"They likely know we're gone..." Cinder mewed, bending down to take a bite. She gave him a playful shove, though she stumbled a little. "Save some for me...!" she purred, taking her first bite of the black rabbit. It was good, but she didn't let that show. Her thick, grey pelt ruffled against a cool, small breeze. The forest around her seemed to be closing in, the trees were dense and close together, which made her shudder. She wanted to go home now, to be with her brother.

He knew he couldn't make her feel like they were gone but he knew he could make her feel safe. He snuggle led close to her and purred soothingly. He let her eat all she wanted before he would finish his meal. He smiled softly at her and wrapped his tail around her flank.

Ashcloud's breathing was slowly grown more shallow and raspier as the time ebbed by, and she could feel her life slipping from her. She wanted to hold on to, to live, but she just didn't have the strength or the energy. Her grey coat was matted with blood and rumpled from the fight. Her icy blue eyes were closed loosely, her mind shooting images of her life through her mind. It was all moving too fast. she couldn't see it. Any of it.

Loudstep wasn't particularly hungry, but he knew he had to eat. "I'd say we hunt while we're here. It'll be easier than keeping moving and trying to hunt at the same time." he meowed, pointing out that fact. His ginger fur ruffled against a chilling breeze, ears flattening to his head. He hated the cold. It annoyed him. His tabby striped seemed to dissipate against his ruffled ginger fur, the white on him making him look like he'd walked through snow.

Cinder looked over at him, surprised at what he was doing, and it didn't help much. She wiggled out of his touch and took another bite, now half the rabbit was gone and one more bite would make it even for them both. Once she was done, the dark grey she-cat began to wander off, her blue eyes round as she looked for a place where everything wasn't so close together. She didn't like things to be so cramped. Shuddering, she padded through the trees alone as Stonepaw finished his half.

Cedarpaw spun around at the sound of a cat approaching, and noticed Shiverwhisker entering from the den's side opening. He detected a faint distant aura about the tom and hesitated on approaching him. "Shiverwhisker!" he mewed, knowing this was no time to dawdle. "Galestorm's been attacked by a fox out in the woods." he shifted from paw to paw, his golden eyes blinking with apprehension and worry.

Shiverwhisker turned to the tom with a sigh. "So many fox attacks lately. They shouldn't be this active in leaf bare..." he mumbled, heading out of his stores. "Lead on Cedarpaw." he meowed flatly, clearly unimpressed that there was yet another fox attack. His grey fur was ruffled against the cold, despite the lack of any wind.

(I can tell you that cinder does, in fact, like Stonepaw, but no cat but Cider herself knows that. C: )

Flamepaw put her fish in the fresh kill pile. "Sure!" she meowed, smiling happily as she sat down next to him. Silently she started to clean her paws, trying to get the smell from the fish off of them. Her fur was still a little wet from when she caught the fish in the stream.
