nodding to his mentor, eaglepaw smiled a bit. "fresh prey sounds nice!" the apprentice commented. he sat down and wrapped his tail over his paws as he listened to the rest of the group talk, waiting until someone gave the signal to leave for the patrol. I hope there's a nice vole somewhere in the fresh-kill pile... he thought, mind straying.
