Wolfpaw laughed and walked off. She did this a lot- she snuck past the guards and wandered the forest. She found a nice field she liked to lay in, the sun shining as she rolled over, relaxed. She felt happy- until a sound in the nearby bushes made her flip back up. She pressed her ears against her skull and hissed, daring anyone to come closer.

Tigerpaw blushed and followed Dapplepool inside. "Anything wrong, Dapplepool?" The last moon had been pretty uneventful, if not boring. The kits were cute, and there seemed to be more by the day, but they seemed to only play among themselves. Nothing seemed to be wrong- mabye she was just sharing some news or something.

Ravenkit

Ravenkit woke up, not noticing his sisters playing. He stretched out from being curled up with his mother. "What are we doing?" Over the last moon he had taken a prompt tour with his littermates, learning to identify cats and places with other scents, most commonly smell. He smelt the other kits, but most prominently Darkkit and Wishkkit. He wondered if they were playing. "Can I play?" he asked nobody in particular.

Silverstar

Silverstar let out a yelp of pain as her kit drew blood on her shoulder. She looked at Darkkit with soft, affectionate eyes. " Darkkit, sweetheart, please be aware when you are playing with teeth. You don’t have dull teeth anymore, they are starting to sharpen up. " she mewed, and excused herself from the game for a few minutes to lick her oozing wound.

Thornkit
Male, 2 Months. Tags : Smokekit, OPEN

Thornkit got bored wrestling with Smokekit before Smokekit excused himself, and left to go talk with his father. Thornkit quietly let out a huff of jealousy. I wish I had a father. he quietly walked over to a leaf, and started to play with it while moping. ( *cough* DRAMA QUEEN *cough* )

Dapplepool
Female, 1 Year, 3 Months. Tags : Smokekit, Nightscar, Tigerpaw.

Dapplepool’s eyes rounded with sympathy for Smokekit. His father seemed to have completely ignored his presence. " I will get you something from the store. Wait here a moment, if you please. Tigerpaw, come along. " The She-Cat flicked her tail to the herb store, showing Tigerpaw where to go.

Foxtuft
Male, 5 Years. Tags : Dovetail, Dapplepool, Thornkit, Sweetkit, Creamkit, Smokekit, Ravenkit, Darkkit, Wishkit.

Foxtuft’s shrugged. He hadn’t seen Dapplepool for at least a Moon now. His gaze flicked over to the nursery. " I sure hope we don’t have to start doubling up on apprentices. With Thornkit, Sweetkit, and Creamkit growing so fast, and Silverstar’s litter on the way, there will be so many new apprentices. Now that I think of it - there isn’t a warrior in this camp that doesn’t have an apprentice anymore! I mean, that is a good thing, the clan’s population will be just over doubled, but still, that would honestly be exhausting! " Foxtuft laughed. It was true, there were so many apprentices now, and he did hope the warriors wouldn’t have to double up on apprentices, but there is a possibility.

Smokekit

Smokekit’s tail drooped. His father had just ignored him. He noticed Dapplepool’s eyes round with sympathy, and felt rage brew up in his tiny body. Stop! I don’t want your stupid pity! he silently wailed out. He turned around, cast a hopeful glance at his father, who was now waiting, and left. He had to talk to Mom about this.

'Yeah, it's probably a bit of a shock to him.' She responded, voice trailing off as she turned to look up at the sky. The Clan had been so peaceful recently, so the LeafClan news put her on edge, just in case they'd been preparing for a battle. She wasn't ready for that - Spiderpaw and Treepaw would insist on participating, and the thought of her children fighting and being injured... It was too much. Shaking her head to dispel the thoughts, she turned to look at the Medicine den. 'I wonder what ruffled Dapplepool's fur earlier - she was looking for someone.'

Foxtuft flicked his tail in impatience, and leaned over to Dovetail, who was handling Creamkit, and Sweetkit. " Why can’t they be as fast as real leaves? " he joked, referring to the rival clan.

Wolfpaw walked near the Tall-log, concern arising in her. This had been the first gathering in a while- it must have been something important.

Tigerpaw went to the herb stores, trying to distract himself from what Dapplepool just told him. He thought of what would bes help Nightscar. "Uhhhh...." He picked up a dandelion, hoping its painkiller-like qualities would help soothe Nightscars back pain. "Chhew this," he told Nightscar.

He walked with Dapplepool and Nightscar to the Tall-log. He sat patiently and waited for Silverstar to speak.

Raven kit walked to a clear point in the camp. He heard and smelled several cats, but it was mostly blurred together. He batted some moss he found, occasionally losing it and having to stumble around until he found it again.
