He picked out a plump mouse from the pile, and padded back to the medicine den. He pushed his way inside, then made his way to his mentor's nest. When he reached her he placed the mouse down in front of her, then stepped back so she could eat.

"What do you mean?" GaleKit asked after dropping the twig.

"Of course, as an apprentice, you'd think you get more freedom; you get to leave the camp, hang out in the clearing, and explore." Frostwhisker told her, "But, as an apprentice, you also have to train and work to prove you can be a warrior. And, often times, you don't have time to play."
