Moondust nodded his head. "She said it was far away from here, but still..." He said before looking back. "What exactly happened to your clan? Or why are you not with them?" He asked before stepping back, figuring Snowstar might want to be the one asking questions instead of him.

Beechpelt had hesitated just before entering the camp, but had followed Moondust anyways. She smiled up at the leader of the clan, a pretty she-cat, and listened to their short conversation before she realized that Moondust had asked her why she was not with her clan. She flattened her ears to her head, looking down at the ground. "It's a complicated story, and I'd rather not relive it through talking about it."

Moondust simply nodded. He knew there were many, many things he wouldn't want to relive so he couldn't blame her. He glanced at Snowstar with a questioning look, waiting to see what she would do.

Snowstar got into a position that made her appear taller. "Why were you roaming on our territory in the first place?" She asked with a soft but challenging look on her face.

Beechpelt felt a knot in her gut, and she gulped. "I didn't know it was anyone's territory, honestly! I had gotten so used to the smell of the different places I'd been that I forgot what border markings smelled like. It didn't help that all border markings smell differently, either." She flicked her tail nervously, shuffling her paws as she tried to stare up at Snowstar.

She nodded and said, "Lets take this to my den.." sje pointed with her tail to the top of the cliff face to where her den was.

The tom glanced at Snowstar. "Should I get our guest something to eat?" He asked the leader. He would have gotten something for her to eat when she first came, but he knew he needed permission first.

Moondust walked over to the fresh kill pile and picked out two mice. She'll probably be hungry after taking such a long trip. he thought as he carried the prey back to Beechpelt. "Here, I grabbed two just encase." He said.
