Quailfeather had been dozing when a voice startled her awake. Amber eyes wide, she glanced worriedly about the dark camp before registering the orange tom before her. She smiled sleepily at Rabbitleap. Maybe I was tired enough to actually go to sleep. The tabby patched she-cat had been restless lately, and there were few things more uncomfortable for her than being awake in a den full of sleeping cats. She appreciated the tom's gesture, glad to suddenly not be alone. "Hi Rabbitleap," she purred, voice somewhat rough from sleep. "What are you doing up?"

A purr rose in Troutsplash's throat as Dovestrike moved to sit in front of the brown-grey warrior. For an old friend, you never fail to suprise me. He smiled at his companion. "What kind of warrior would I be if I didn't want to protect my clanmates?" Troutsplash teased, reaching out a thick furred paw to poke playfully at the she-cat's side. He grew more serious at her mention of kits, however, and smiled gently, meeting her gaze. I know so well what that feels like. "I'm sure you will, at the time Starclan has planned. You'd make a wonderful mother," he said quietly. Troutsplash smiled at the other warrior. "And in the meantime, remember that you may very well end up mentoring one of these kits."

A purr rumbles in my throat. "Thank you Troutsplash. I hope if make a great mother." My ears at perked as he continues. "Oh yes of course. Without us to mentor cats, their we be no future warriors!" My fluffy tail sits neatly at my paws as I speak. My blue eyes sparkle at the thought of possibly being a mother. I know in my heart what a great father Troutsplash would be, but I'm not sure if he knows it.

Actually, on that note, I'm not trying to be pushy, but EVERYONE NEEDS TO MAKE THEIR CATS GO TO SLEEP. We have nearly 70 pages on this RP, and it's still day one. Can we speed it up a bit? Sorry for my impatience XD}

He lay under a bush, asleep. He curled deeper into the bush as it got a little cold. The brown tom sighed as he rolled over and started to snore quietly. His ears twitched as he heard faint sounds of other cats snoring.
