I frowned in silent anger as Cherryblossom talked to Pantherstrike, then flicked my ear. She was allowed to talk to him... and I shouldn't be so possessive of a tom who wasn't my mate or anything.

Yawning harshly, the tom was still tired from all the dilly dally the night before. Kittypets were annoying and disrespectful but asking a whole clan to attack a sad pack of two? He couldn't wrap his head around it as the tom exits the warrior's den, feeling the faint sunlight on his face.

Not saying too much about Snowpaw's arrival in the clan.

Eaglepaw heard all the fuss from Starclan about him being so young. It made him feel like he should've never gone so close. He should've said he couldn't do it. He should've waited until he was older to be trained for it. I should've never gone on that stupid hunt anyways! he thought, and when he heard the other cats fuss about their loss, his legs started to shake. He slowly began to lay down, and put his head on the clouds and started to cry firmly. "I want to come back to you." he said shakily.

Ripplestorm stepped out of the warriors den and stretched. He saw Eaglepaw's body still lay there in the grass. He closed his eyes, and took a short moment of silence since he had been hunting when everyone had sat vigil. He opened his eyes and padded towards the kill pile.

Gingerkit bounded away from the newcomers. She stopped at the kill pile, where Ripplestorm was. She fell into a sloppy crouch and pounced onto his tail. He didn't seem to notice, so Gingerkit continued bugging all the others.

Snowpaw awoke with a hug yawn. She needed all the sleep she could get after the night before. Slowly Snowpaw got up ands padded out of the apprentice den. She stretched her limbs and began grooming her fur.

Who was that?" Ace asked, referring to the small kitten that had just walked in. He yawned and looked around the den, taking a minute to remember what had happened. Ace was used to waking up alone in the forest but now he was waking up in a den surrounded by cats.
