Karrie managed to push the wolf off her. "Farther into the cave! Go!" she ordered the pups.

Barti stumbled down the dark cave.

Willow stopped a short distance away. "Now what?" she asked Rako.

"You too, Yuki!" Shade barked, not about to let his love be injured at the expense of an evil pack. "Hakuri, I expected better of you," he said solemnly. Chako flinched and looked away from Apollo's body. "In, now!" she hissed to the pups, nudging them inside. She followed after Kia gave the signal.

Karrie stood guard over the pups, bristling and snarling.

Athena snapped at Ink and leaped away. She howled in grief and shook in shock. She cried and cried hunched over Apollo's body. Her three pups stumbled out from underneth her hidden and unknown from everyone except Yara. The pups sniffed their father's body yelping and yipping stumpling over him. Everything had happened so fast. Athena look up and looked at Yara and Shade, who she knew would kill her pups. "Please," she whispered "Kill me. Let my pups live. They are only 6 weeks old, if you took them now they would have no memories of this. Please." she pleaded for the puppies, she was willing to give her life for them, but was also ready to die fighting to protect them and her if they would agree. She stood over them muscles tense and ready.

Yara dipped his head to Athena. "I'm sorry about your mate but he deserved it. You are willing to give your life for your pups, so in turn, you deserve to live. Join us, that is... If you want to. We'll look after you and your pups..."

Ink stood there, watching silently. He knew Yara wouldn't have the heart to kill Athena's puppies...So he wasn't that worried. Suddenly, a big wolf knocked him over and tore his stomach open with one slash, then quickly ripped half of his left ear off. Ink kicked at the wolf's chest, trying to make it stop, but the evil wolf rolled him on to his side and stamped down hard on his face, making his nose bleed heavily. The poor pup tried to get away but the wolf tore his throat open and threw him in to a tree...And left him to die.

Teru and Fuji fled in to a cave, and Yuki went deeper in to the cave Barti was in to hide. All of them were frightened, well, except for Teru. He wanted to get out there and fight alongside everyone.

Chiyo whined and ducked down behind a rock, watching the wolves run past. They were running straight in to Shadow Pack territory...Oh god...What the hell should I do?! He took a deep breath in and ran quickly until he was in front of the charging wolves. He tried to look big and scary, but it was useless because he was a cute little chihuahua puppy. (X3) "Hey! What do you idiots think you're doing?"

Athena shook her head "I won't be able to look at them without them reminding me of him. I know what he and I did was wrong, but we did truely love each other. I was blinded by love and in turn went along with whatever he did." she said in a wavering voice. "Please take care of my pups Yara, make sure no one blames them for our crimes. She licked Yara's cheek. "And thank you for being the only one other than Apollo to show me kindness." she finished. She nudged a white female dane pup with black spots and speckles forward. "This is Aceso." she said. She nudged and black male dane pup with a white face, chest and paws forward. "This is Atlas." she stated in a dull voice obviously in emotional pain. "And this," she whispered voice crackling as she pushed a grey male dane pup with black spots forward "Is the runt Aether.." she trailed off and licked each one on the head. "mommy loves you all very much!" she whispered while tears rolled down. She looked around and nodded to Yara and walked to the edge of the cliff she was on. "Bye." she said and walked backwards, eyes closed off the cliff. She hit ledges on the way down until she was impailed herself 100 m down on a branch sticking out of a log. It was an easy climb but a deadly fall if you jumped or slipped. She was still alive bleeding to death. I'll be joining you soon Apollo, I'm sorry I failed our pups. She squished her eyes closed and waited to die.

Yara snarled, tearing the wolf apart in seconds. He ran over to Ink, grabbing Ink's little body in his jaws. "Ink... No..."
