Silvertail shook his head for Badgerbloom to see. "You aren't being too loud," he purred even though he had a suspicion that a good amount of prey were scared off by Badgerbloom. The molly didn't need to feel bad about her deafness anymore than she already did though so the deputy kept it to himself. A scent that Silvertail didn't quite recognize met his nose. A strange cat? After all of the commotion of the new Sycamore clan, Silvertail didn't think too much of it. There had to be at least twenty cats he didn't know the scents of just yet.

Mousepelt's tail lifted at her leader's compliments. Her chest puffed and a grin grew on her muzzle. "Thank you, Antstar," she purred and bowed her head politely before beginning her walk back to camp. Despite her old aching bones, she had a little more energy than usual. Having something to look forward to would help fill the old she-cat's time.

Ivyleaf moved slowly through the forest, pointing out plants and smells to the small kit and teaching Onyxkit the names of the different prey animals in the forest. She came to a spotted mushroom and batted it softly with her paw. "This is a mushroom. Some of them are bad for cats though so you don't want to pick them without asking a medicine cat if it's okay," she purred softly.

Bracken nodded at the queen's answer and set off in search of prey. His tail flicked high above him as he padded out of the camp and into the snowy forest surrounding the area. Perhaps if he could catch a large amount of prey he could win the affections of one of the many she-cats that made their homes in Sycamoreclan.

Tigerbloom chuckled and followed after the young apprentice. Acornpaw had spunk and energy, you had to give her that. "Can you catch fish yet?" Tigerbloom called as she followed Acornpaw through the bracken.

Fernsnap's ears flicked as the group was split. Her tail lowered slightly when she was paired with Tatteredhawk. Of course the bengal had nothing against Tatteredhawk and he was always nothing but kind to her. She sighed and supposed that she would need to speak with Crabfur after hunting. "The beach is fine," she answered giving the tom a smile. She hadn't seen Redfur in nearly a moon and figured he had moved on by now so she probably would be safe to go to the beach with her clanmates.

The molly let out a sigh of relief as the deputy reassured her, bringing out a purr from her chest. She trusted Silvertail and looked up to him so his reassurance meant the world to her. Just as she was about to speak she too suddenly smelt an unfamiliar scent. It was hard to detect due to the cold snow but there was someone nearby that was not a Summitclan cat. She turned to look at the two toms and could tell that Silvertail could smell the stranger as well.
Badgerbloom looked around the clearing, her eyes scanning the ground and tree trucks surrounding them. "Do you smell that?" She whispered to stagleap, though her whisper was a bit louder than she intended. She didn't even think to look up in the trees, her gaze remaining ground level as she sniffed the air, her ears flickering despite their inability to hear any approaching threat.

Crabfur felt his stomach drop as he watched Cedarshine turn to Tatteredhawk and informed him he would be hunting with Fernsnap. That would leave Crabfur hunting with Cedarshine after all. His yellow-green eyes wavered from his fellow warriors towards the deputy, unsure why she had chosen to split them up in such a way. He didn't think the long-haired molly liked him much either. She had never been outright mean or dismissive towards him but something bout the way she looked at him made him shy away and feel tiny. It was not fear to the extent he had felt towards Blizzardcrow but a small part of him was very intimidated by her. He gulped and averted his gaze from her once again trying to steady his breathing and reassuring himself that everything was okay and that he would just have to try extra hard on the hunt to not slow her down.
He cast a glance in Fernsnap's direction before going to silently stand by Cedarshine. No amount of whining would get him out of the situation afterall, he knew he just needed to follow along.

Cindercloud dipped her head and followed the queen into the nursery, her large frame taking up a good bit of room inside the cozy den. Unlike the cats within the den her long thick fur kept her warm and dry during the frigid season. Her eyes scanned the den before landing on the kits inside their nest. As Cosmospetal spoke she looked at the other molly. "I can see about finding some feathers to help line your nest. That should help keep you and them a bit warmer." She meowed before stepping forward to get a better look at the kits. "Have either of them been coughing or wheezing at all?" She asked the queen. The weather was not at all ideal for kits to be born in and the danger of illness was a real threat for them.

The she-cat had been focused on climbing the steepening terrain, following the scent of what she assumed to be clan cats. She expected to run into someone soon but when a tom with a heavily scarred face appeared she couldn't help but be a bit startled. The molly blinked in surprise at the tom's words and appearance before letting a small smile envelope her face. Despite how he looked this was the first cat she had seen since leaving her birthclan and he did not seem at all aggressive.
"Do I look that bad?" She questioned with an embarrassed chuckle, her voice was soft and feminine, a polar opposite to Cindercloud's. "I'm sorry, I haven't had time to keep my fur groomed, it been awfully cold and Iv just been focused on finding another cat." She mused, honestly, looking up at him a bit nervous now. She hesitated before speaking again "I don't mean to be forward but do you perhaps belong to a clan?"

She only nodded in response to Bubblekit's remark because she was too enraptured by the strange she-cat talking to the caregivers at the entrance. Splashkit noticed that she smelled like herbs -- a lot of herbs to the point where it almost choked her when she breathed. As the medicine cat approached, she gazed up at her and held her breath. After a few moments, she had to breathe and gasped a lungful of air. "You smell weird," Splashkit commented with a wrinkle of her nose.

Cedarshine cast a hard glance at Crabfur remaining silent beside her before nodding to Tatteredhawk. "Right, we'll be hunting along the forest then." she mewed gruffly, padding as softly as possible with her mouth slightly ajar, searching for any prey scents. She wasn't quite sure how to feel about her decision of not just hunting with Tatteredhawk; he was a skilled young warrior who had proven himself over and over. Crabfur- well, she had rarely even glanced his direction, so perhaps this was as good a time as any to get to know him. After all, she was a deputy now, and she needed to know each individual cat to be able to run things as smoothly as possible.

Lemon held back a nervous huff as the cats halted and started murmuring about a strange scent. Lemon decided her discovery was more important then seeing the black mottled molly and shrank back even farther, brushing up against a holly bush as carefully as possible to help hide her scent. Her amber eyes flickered with disappointment at not being able to speak with the she-cat, but survival was much more important than useless bantering.

She scanned around the forest, walking after the younger warrior, her eyes looking tot the way where Flickerswoop was being looked at. After the three clans were sharing this forest, the forest was more liveable, only that Summitclan and Scoreclan walking into each other's territory was still taboo, but either clan can walk into Sycamoreclan, which was kind of weird in somehow.

The crisp air hit Finch's nose and he smiled. He liked the feeling of getting up in the morning, stretching and ready for a new day. He wondered what today will bring him as he gently crept out of his home in the bramble thicket. His wild orange fur was always covered in burs, but it was fine; Finch could pull those out himself with ease. But as he walked, as he trotted through the freshly dewed ferns and crawled under promiscuously fallen trees, he noticed a cat. A couple of cats, actually, but the one that caught his attention was a tall white tom with ginger tabby patches. He seemed to be mesmerized by the cat, as if he was destined to meet him.

After burying the crab she'd caught the feline paused, gaze drawn to a tidepool not far away figuring that she'd find more prey there. Strolling over, Servalnose blinked a slight frown on her face. The place had been nearly picked clean, by the scent of the area, the seagulls were the cause. She grimaced but ultimately decided that she could catch one or two things and still have this place be at a semi-healthy ecosystem. A small fish caught her eye, which was relatively close to the edge, but at the same time, it was still too far for her to reach with just her paw. With a grimace and a half-hearted sigh, she risked it. Digging her hind claws into the ground as she slowly shuffled closer to the edge, she raised one paw before pausing.

With a rolled eye, Servalnose shook her head, silently berating herself and just leaped into the water, face first as her jaws clamped around her prey. Her eyes stung as she hadn't closed her eyes, but it wasn't painful for long nor did it hurt that much. Breaching the surface of the water, she breathed harshly in through her nose.

Burying his catch, the fluffy tom sighed and sat down. Curling his tail around his paws and closing his eyes the tom sighed, thinking back to his younger days. Shaking the thoughts away, Palejaw sighed and opened his eyes once more. Instantly heading for the Scymoreclan border, silently wondering if he'd run into anyone from the clan. Or maybe he'd run into a loner? That would be interesting, though Palejaw wasn't sure he wanted interesting right now. The interesting things in life always seemed to end badly, for him at least.
