Pikeflower clenched his jaw to prevent himself from saying something he would later regret. "Of course I trust you." He simply said after a moment. He assumed that Mistyclaw of all cats would be able to understand his need for reassurance without trying to turn it back on themselves. Still, even with that character flaw, Pikeflower was prepared to dedicate his life to the she-cat.
