She began licking quicker, "Come on. please Forestkit, you are my kit and I will never leave you! Please wake up!"

Frostkit wasn't a huge fan of having tons of others in the nursery, she was nervous enough as it was. But she knew it was good for the clan so she was fine with it.

Talonfang did what he did best, stand guard at the entrance, he had planned to show Cherrypaw some defensive moves and would do it soon.

Hawkpaw did everything he was told until his paws were sore. He hoped he would become a warrior soon but he knew deep down that his mind was far off, he still had too much to do.

Blackfeather wheezed from the Elder's den, it wasn't a sickness but he was getting old. Often he'd wake up with his joints hurting though he wasn't one to complain... At least about pain, anything the young cats did though was fair game to complain about... Whippersnappers.

Pinekit padded into the elders den her tail high, "Blackfeather could I hear some elder stories?"

Blackfeather loved the chance to tell a story, though who knew when he'd stop, "Sure! Hmm how about the day the sun was swallowed? It happened long ago, it was a story my father told me and one his father told him! It was the middle of the day and everything seemed normal but then the day started to grow dark. The sun started to be consumed by a large black shadow, it was believed to be the Dark Forest starting a fight against our great ancestors! The world became dark and cold it felt like night but the stars of our ancestors couldn't be seen! The shadow over took the entire forest, it was believed there would be an eternal night. Everything was chaos. When it seemed that we were in the most trouble that's when Starclan fought back. They chased the Dark Forest cats back and gave us the sun back. It's believed that one day the Dark Forest will take the sun again, it will find my recruits for its ranks to fight the great warriors up there and bring chaos on all the clans. As long as Starclan watches over us though, the Dark Forest cannot win and take the day from us."

"WHAT!? The sun was gone! And whats the Dark Forest?"

Blackfeather nodded, "Yes, the sun was swallowed by darkness. The Dark Forest is a story that told many, many moons ago. Now it's thought that it was only to scare little kits. When clan cats who follow the warrior code die they hunt in Starclan forever, never cold, never hungry, always with the clan mates they love. However those who did not follow the warrior code and fought against it, tried to destroy the great clans died they were not given this honor they went to the Dark Forest where it was always cold, there is no food and they do not see their clan mates. You see the warrior code has many important jobs to do, it keeps you out of such an evil place and holds the clans together. Perhaps the others are right and it's just an old story to help keep everyone in line but then again, who knows what happens to cats with evil in their hearts when they die, after all I would certainly not want to see them in Starclan, would you?"
