Oceanroar listened to Emberflight as he dished out orders before nodding. She got up and turned around, bounding into the warrior's den for rest.

Applesky heard his name and lifted his head. The deputy is making patrols.. He thought and quickly headed over, hearing that he was on patrol with Emberflight and Swampfoot. The russet tom waited patiently to go.

Reedstar sneaked behind Thraxx, pouncing at the last second to surprise him. "Long time no see Thraxx."

Spottedpaw squeaked, nodding. "Sorry!" The little apprentice slowed down a bit, waiting for her mentor. "I need to work on hunting birds and in the grasslands, is that ok?"

• She gave a small laugh at his comment before finding something to hunt. Dovesplash started to track the prey she scented and was greeted by a small mouse when she saw it. The she cat crouched down and made sure her claws were sheathed. She also made sure Arthur was watching before she pounced. What the white cat had in mind was to leap up and firmly grasp the prey in her paws and quickly make the killing bite. Dovesplash then leaped up before slamming down on the mouse and quickly sank her fangs into its neck. It gave a loud cry of agony before the sound abruptly stopped. Dovesplash sat back up with the prey in her jaws and padded back over to Arthur. She set it down and showed him there were no claw marks. "What I did was really firmly grasp the prey in my paws and quickly killed it."

Spottedpaw laughed, sending a spiral of birds up into the air. Despite the warmth of the day her breath seemed to fog in front of her, frost building on the thin branches she raced across. 'Follow the wind that chills your bones' . The small warrior stopped suddenly, looking around with wide eyes. "Mamma?" She whispered, swearing she could hear the voice of Leopardheart.
