you had said you would love for one of your cats to run, but you sounded unhopeful and therefore, I passed over you because you had not clearly stated that you had WISHED, for one of your cats to be in the running.
If you had said
"i would love for c/n to run for deputy, though i doubt anyone would vote for them"
they would have been included, but you did not specify.
