"Okay. I'll race you down!" Mottlefur said happily. She ran off to the stairs and started jumping down.

Stripestar nodded as he mews. "Yes but while I do that there are new kits you can help look after." he press his nose to her forehead and mews. "Help Scootfeather be a queen, a mother, and some cat who is going to be an amazing kit raiser like you."

Falconheart
"Another race?!" He exclaimed, leaping down three steps at a time. He was so close to being in front of her, this time he wanted to win.

Ashkit;;

Ashkit had been pushed away from his mother's belly by all of his siblings, and he was now mewling, scared.

Thrushleap;;

Thrushleap glanced at Flamekit. "Stay here, okay? I'll be right back." She stood up, looking around for Cloudgaze. "Cloudgaze?"

Jaypaw;;

Jaypaw gave a small sigh, seeing Thrushleap stand up and call for his mother. He didn't like it. After glancing around a bit, he spotted Kestrelfern and bounded towards him. "Hello."

[Weredog]

Cloudgaze gave a soft sigh and a slow nod. Another cat might have refused to go straight to work looking after newborns just after their mate died but luckily for Stripestar, the queen simply adored kittens far too much to refuse to assist the new mother. "Spottedpaw or Sparrowpaw could show you where the body is." She murmured before turning away to follow the new kit scent. She didn't go far before she heard her name being called and replied with a call of her own, "Thrushleap?" She stopped moving towards Scootfeather to turn towards the sound of the other queen's voice instead.

Mottlefur wasn't going down as many steps as Falconheart as was quickly beaten. "Congratulations." She said, smiling at him.

Thrushleap;;

Thrushleap bounded towards the she-cat, pressing her nose into her fur. "How did it go with Leopardstripe?" she meowed quietly. "D-did he forgive you..?"

[Sunsmoke]

Stripestar looked at Cloudgaze as he flick his ear back. "Leopardstripe. Why." He flicks his tail as he just kept looking at CLoudgaze.

Flamekit
He awkwardly shuffled his paws and looked around. Cats were hanging around and chatting with each other. Sighing, he sat down and stayed still, like Thrushleap had told him to.

[Weredog]

Cloudgaze shook her head. The movement was slow at first but soon turned into a more quick shaking of her head as she felt emotions flood back towards her all at once. Tears suddenly began to stream down her face and her whole body seemed to shake as she broke into grief induced sobs. "No." She managed to choke out after a short while, "He's gone."
