Hunter immediately rose his head, his ears pricking in interest. He couldn't help it, whenever he heard of a fight, he was always interested in joining the safer one; the stronger one.

"Um," he asked, "What is this 'Dark Forest'?" He needed to know if they were cats, and if they would be happy to accept him.

[storm coming.]

She growled. "Same with Fadedpaw! Do you think they are betraying us?"

Sagestep
She smiled. "It's a place where dead cats go when they get rejected by StarClan, our ancestors." She explained to Hunter

[Vylad]

Redpelt ran up and leaped into the air beside Sageclaw "Hey Sageclaw" He meowed


Jadewing growled "They better not if I found out they did I'll claw out thier throats"

Splash closed her eyes and listened to the sounds of the forest. She sighed softly, almost looking like she was waiting for someone.

She chuckled. "Waspfeather? Ivytail?" Ivystar called.

Swiftstar
She looked out into the forest. Her fur bristled.

She smiled. "Hello Redpelt, this here is Hunter."

Waspfeather stalked out behind a bush.

Redpelt looked at 'Hunter' "A loner?"he snorted

Splash's ear flicked. "What is it?" She asked Swiftstar quietly, curious.

Hunter was taken aback. The cat's explanation made absolutely no sense to him, and he couldn't even figure out if this cat was sane. Ancestors? Dad cats? Attacking living cats?

"....Huh?" he said in confusion. He was so appalled that he didn't even realize that he said anything at all. He couldn't help but want to yowl in laughter. Was this a joke? This cat couldn't be serious. This cat must really like her excuses to feed him that story and expect him to believe her.

gotten back from Starlingflight, so she was covered in the stench of herbs.
