Foxpaw's eyes were wide with shock. He didn't dare ask what had happened so instead he just sat by her body and mourned.

Wolfpaw's eyes were filled with tears. "I...Im sorry for your loss, Foxpaw." he mewed quietly. Wolfpaw got up and let the rain soak him to the bone. He laid there in the rain, his gaze fixed on Ivyleafs limp body.

Nightkit pulled herself up, her eyes closed. A single tear fell from her face, onto Ivypelts closed eye. She leapt over the body, and out of camp, running faster than she had before.

Foxpaw sighed, he'd only been in the clan for a few days and one of the first cats he'd met was Ivyleaf. "It's alright." He mewed, looking at the stars. "May Starclan welcome her into their ranks." He sighed.

Wolfpaw growled at Nightkit then felt bad for her. Why me?

Foxpaw began to think about his parents. Two kittypets, once loners were my parents. I don't belong here and I never will. He sighed. He put a paw where his collar once was, it felt weird not to be wearing it. "Pallantia? Wolfpaw? Do I really belong here?" He asked, unfolding the wings he never knew he could have.

Nightkit hid underneath a bush, her eyes no longer amber. She gritted her teeth and yowled, yowled for Ivyleaf. Yowled for the fact that she had lost everything.
