Veiled by a Song: PM to Join (Fox RP)

"He's scary!" Yuri yelped from behind Kiki. He lay down and put his paws over his eyes to avoid the fox's stare. He quivered a little as he wait to see what Soul would say.

Shiko grinned, throwing an acorn into the air and allowing it to spin on the tip of her claw. It created a small hole in the bottom and she sucked the nutrients from the inside of it. She had a long way to go with this apprentice. Tossing the empty acorn aside, she settled herself and looked expectantly up at Soul.

Flare abandoned his almost finished robin and followed Raven. He noticed Phantom but didn't mind him at all. Then finally Flare noticed the scraggy fox and wonderded what he was doing in their leash.

"Don't worry, he isn't in the position to fight. There are many of us and only one of him." Kiki said to re-assure Yuri, looking over her shoulder to see what he was doing behind her.

Sasha looked Heron straight in the eye. She could tell that the mean look he had was all a mask to make sure every one stayed afraid. She knew that he just wanted to know why they were staring at him in the first place.

Raven noticed Phantom sitting beside her, also a bit a ways from the newcomer. "Does he seem creepy to you to?" she whispered to him.

"Sort of. What about you? What do you think?" Phantom answered and asked quietly at the same time. He glanced at the newcomer, wondering who this fox was. He looked around the gathering, seeing many were staring at the newcomer or talking about him in rushed voices.

[Calypso Sky]

"I'm not sure, he's just so... different from the rest of us..." Raven replied, stealing a glance at Heron before turning back to look at Phantom. "He's bigger, and certainly older. But, Soul knows best," she sighed, looking around at all the other foxes. The more she looked, the more she realized that something was off. "Hey Phantom," she began, "Where's Sadira, your apprentice?"

Phantom's eyes grew wide, because WHERE was she? He felt dumb for not watching her. "I-I have no idea." He answered worriedly. "Think I should ask Soul after his news?" He asked Raven, worry growing a bit more every half a second.

[Calypso Sky]

"I'm sure he knows," Raven soothed, putting her tail on his shoulder in a friendly way, "She was with Copper earlier, right? I saw Copper talking to Soul, so maybe Soul will mention it, and if not, then you can ask..." She stroked his shoulder and then put her tail down, hoping he had calmed a bit, "It's not your responsibility to watch over her 24/7, it's okay."

Phantom nervousness lowered and sunk gleefully back down to normal level. "You're right. Thanks." He said, and looked forward to ask Soul. "True." Phantom said and waited for the leader to speak, and was glad for the kind words Raven gave him.

Bluebell dropped the thrush back into the pile of fresh-kill. I'll eat later.. She slowly made her way over the group of foxes surrounding Soul and settled down next to Kiki and Yuri.

Apollo joined the others, waiting for Soul to speak. He agreed with the others - Heron did look kind of scary. "I wonder what Soul's going to do about this new fox..." he murmured quietly to Sasha.
