Lilypaw looked up at Reedstar with glowing gratitude. "Yes, you're right. It just doesn't feel right going to the Star Bush without Oakflower beside me." She sighed. The fæ began to pad up a steep but short slope as she followed the path her and Oakflower used to follow. Lilypaw's chest tightened as her paw slipped into a dint in the grass. The pawprint was larger than her own, but it was impossible for it to belong to Oakflower since she hadn't been here for a moon or so. Suddenly the medicine cat apprentice felt fur brush against her and a familiar scent drifted towards her. Lilypaw looked beside her but saw nothing except the fern fronds curling over her back.

"Actually, I was planning on giving you an assessment tomorrow. It will not be your last, but I would like to see where you are at." He told the smaller she cat before standing. "You should get some rest." He instructed.

Minnowash brushed her muzzle against Spottedpaw's gently in farewell. "See you later." She mewed before following Lilypaw out of camp. This part of the territory was unfamiliar to her, since she'd never taken it before, but the scenery was beautiful. The leaves on the trees were thicker and healthier, the fern fronds were lush and green and the grass beneath her paws was soft and tickled her pads. It was completely different to the other section of the territory.

He mewed, picking his way carefully over a tree root blocking his path. "But he was unsure because May didn't want to come too.." Then he turned to Dovesplash. "May is another friend of mine that lives beside Tiger. She and Tiger are very close, and he doesn't want to leave her.. But I don't want to leave him." The kittypet let out a sigh, eyes clouded with a pain that seemed too confusing for any cat to understand.

• "Stay with your friend then Arthur. It would be a lot better then trying to join the clan. The clan may faint you and tease you if you do manage to join. We don't really like non clan cats but some of us are more friendly to them then others. I think it's best for you to stay where you're at. You have a home, food, everything. We have to work for it. I sometimes thought of becoming a kittypet until I remembered I have a clan to serve. They may have one less mouth to feed but one less pair of claws to help feed mouths and one less cat to defend for them." Dovesplash meowed calmly. Besides she could always squeeze in time to see Arthur and his friends she still has yet to meet. She wasn't really assigned much from the clan and always had time to kill. As she knew, they didn't really notice the white Maine Coon often so sneaking out was with ease.

A warrior or apprentice may not share what they have seen. Hunt and rest, at moon high we will welcome you all as full warriors, apprentices and medicine cat of leafclan. " the russet wait dipped her head, smiling slightly. The omen heavy in her mind.

She mewed. "But StarClan does not wish for us to gossip among our friends about what we dream about, for they are our dreams, not theirs." She mewed before sitting down by the bush. "I'm not hungry." She told Reedstar as she rested her head on her paws, thinking about Oakflower.

Thraxx paused in his pawsteps, his nose picking up the scents of Reedstar and another cat, a smaller cat. His green eyes glowed faint,y as he watched the glowing bush. Hunger rumbled in his stomach for the berries. StarClan. His mother, a former warrior of LeafClan told Thraxx and his littermates about them. StarClan was the cats that lived before them, and they guide every pawstep of the cat's lives. Thraxx closed his eyes, shutting out the world. I believe.

May woke up, blinking slowly, her stomach rumbled, and a faint meow of concern could be heard deeper in her nest. Her twolegs had chosen a mate for her, and she guessed he was OK. But that didn't change her feelings for Tiger.


Reedstar nodded to the young warrior. "That would be helpful, I'll go out and hunt as well."

Spottedpaw had taken off before he could finish, eager to get out and hunt.
