She narrowed her eyes. "Why are you on StormClan territory?" Sagestep demanded to know from the stranger.

Hunter nodded, understanding why she would like to know, "I'm all alone. I've lost most of my family and I've been wandering alone for a very long time. I want to be able to rest without worrying about my life, or wondering if I can even find a meal next morning."

He lowered his ears and looked away. It was definitely true; his sister abandoned her only family and everyone else was dead. His heart swelled with the memory, and he would rather not think about it. The faster it was out of his mind, the easier his life would be.
