Crowstar watched with quiet amusement at the Clan's shocked faces. It was what he expected.

Her wash came to an end as Firekit gulped down his last bite. There was still some squirrel left, but barely. Swiftly, she quickly groomed his spotted coat, before standing up. "We're gonna retire." She stated, carefully nosing the squirrel remains towards Tigerfang. "Sorry it's not much, I didn't know I had that much of a hungry beast for a kit." She said with amusement. She dropped her head towards his er and gispered, "Thanks again." Picking her head up, she summoned her kit. "Night, you two." Her gaze shifted to both toms as she spoke, before she preceded away. She looked over her shoulder at Tigerfang. "I'll catch you something nice one day-promise!" She called, making her way into the nursery where her new nest awaits...

Ashfire was about to answer Tigerfang's question when Swiftbreeze announced her dismissal as she and her kit went to their nest. Dipping his head to her he spoke his first, nice words to the she-cat in many moons, "Good night, Swiftbreeze." It was short, but it was progress towards fixing the bad blood caused by the choas brought to them in early leaf-bare. Turning back to the striped combatant in front of him the tom nodded, "Yes she will." He answered proudly a certain gleam in his eyes thinking about her accomplishments, "I have meant to speak with Heartstar about her naming ceremony, though it seems she has been very busy latly with no time for a chat."

Sharpstar stood up from where he sat. "First of, the Top Division is thriving. Newleaf has brought new prey. And new threats. Remember to look out for dogs, badgers, and foxes. They'll be looking for prey too." The tom grinned a bit. "I will still be monitoring the lower divisions, just so you know. In case you'd 'put your guard down.'" The tom was finished and sat back down.

Tigerfang murmured. "Goodnight Swiftbreeze." He merely smiled at her offerings as she left. As Ashfore began to speak again Tigerfang sat down, finishing what was left of the squirrel. "Good! I bet Scarletpaw's excited. Heartstar's just been busy. Try talking to her tomorrow morning. That's when she seems least buisiest."

Lightpaw let out a small new after Sharpstar finished. She wasn't a fan of the top leader, but she found him interesting. I mean, she didn't like divisions, but she liked his way of thinking and leading.
