Foxfur:
I pass through the camp entrance and pause, watching Shadepelt streak across the clearing to Thunderstar's den. I wait for him to return, knowing even before he gets to me that the leader must be asleep, otherwise she'd probably be out catching a break from her stuffy den. "yes." I say to Shadepelt, "Let's hunt, then." Warily, I turn right around and walk out of camp, knowing that this hunt will involve less prey and more prattle, if i'm not mistaken.

Hawktail:
-Snoozin'-

Stonekit:
"You don't think we'll wake them?" I ask my sibblings conspiratorially, "I... I mean, I want to play... it's just... what if we get in trouble?"

Mousekit:
I scoff, "Don't be such a scaredy cat Stonekit!" I squeak, disdainfully. I stand up boldly and leap over my brother's narrow grey body, landing with an umph, but on my paws, "come on, let's play!" I growl, rebelliously shaking my rump in the air.

Shadepelt:

Feeling a mixture of nervousness and eagerness, I follow Foxfur out of camp, ready to talk more than hunt. Once we're out of sight of the entrance to camp, I pause, and begin speaking without waiting to see if she's even paying attention. "Foxfur, listen, I-" I wince, afraid of how she'll react, "I know that you are more interested in Russetclaw, and more than that, I know you're deputy, but... well, I think I might have feelings for you." I meow quietly, "I'm sorry, I don't want to mess up our friendship, but I thought you should know... if you want to avoid me, that's fine." I add, hanging my head.

Shinepaw:
Following them through the trees. Suddenly she hears a sound. The sound of kits, she leaps across the trees fleet and as sure footed as a squirrel. She bursts out to see Raindrop (Shinepaw knew Raindrop when she was a rogue) on the ground dying by her two daughters. "Raindrop!!" Shinepaw wails. "It's okay Feather, I am almost gone but I have a favor to ask of you." Raindrop says weakly, as Shinepaw nods. "Will you take care of Willow and Lilly. You know how much I love them, I want them to live. I will watch over you from Starclan. Goodbye Feather." As Raindrop says this her eyes glaze over and she stares sightlessly at the sky. Shinepaw cries, big salty drops of saddness. She slowly licks Raindrop's eyes closed and pucks her up saying, "Willow, Lilly follow me." They nod, and as Shinepaw padds slowly back to the camp they follow, for once subdued.

Foxfur:
I whirl around, gaping at Shadepelt, but unable to speak in the shock I feel. "Wh-What?" I stutter, too lost to say much else. My head spins with what he's said; he thinks I'm particularly interested in Russetclaw? He likes me? Since when!? And he says that he knows I'm deputy so.... so what? The leader had kits, and that means that, no, I can't - but I could still like a tom, couldn't I? And do I?
Well I just don't know.
"Shadepelt, I-" What? What do I say now? Instead of speaking, I walk forward and lick his shoulder gently, I look at him a moment, feeling a fleeting, and regretful, desire, then turn and bound into the woods, seeking prey.

Hawktail:
Giving a yawn, I wake up curled around Thunderstar and four large kits. Is it just me, or do they seem larger than when I fell asleep some hours ago? Curious, I stand up, and sniff each snoring mound of fur warily. They smell the same, but... fainter. As if they've already grown out of the milky scent of a kit.
Strange.
Nudging Thundersar without touching any kits, I hope to ask her what she thinks.

Shinepaw:
She cauterwhales in saddness after she lays Raindrop gently in the middle of the camp. Her misrable yowls awaking the clan and she buries her snout into Raindrop's soft fur. "You were a great mother to Willow and Lilly. They will survive." Her muffled voice reaches Raindrop in Starclan and Raindrop smiles.
