Mintsplash saw flashes of the fire in her sleep-her mother, father, clanmates screeching as they fell into the fire and met their doom. Cats were running in all directions around the she-cat, as she kept crying for them to run faster. She started running with them, and the fire suddenly swarming her, growling like a monster. Just as a burning log was about to hit her, she woke up, her fur standing on end and her eyes wide in alarm. She was glad to catch the scent of Shiverwhisker beside her, and the grassy ground tickling her fur. She was just about to lift her head when a stabbing wave of pain showered her head. "Wh-What happened?" the she-cat whispers.

Pebblerun nodded her head. " I'll go." She meowed, taking off. She quickly caught up to Frostwing and Cloudstrike. " We have the missing cats. You can come back." She meowed, before turning back to Eaglestar.

Cloudstrike padded back, slowling when he reached Eaglestar. " That is good. How long do you think the monster will be around?" He asked.

"No need to apologize, coping with some things comes harder to some than it does other. The situation has harmed you clans more than it has done so to me."
She returned to her sitting position, curious to the... almost advertising that Appleleaf was doing. She smiled softly
"It would be a prudent time... if I was interested enough. Protection and food is something I have yet to have a problem with, and the only wounds I have ever acquired are from the cats I would deem my clan".
She stopped a moment longer and muttered
"Not to mention some of the code is ridiculous."
The word ridiculous was emphasized with an eye roll. She then looked back at Appleleaf and said
"The pros do outweigh the cons, and that is clear. But my loyalty doesn't come easily, and that isn't acceptable in a clan, I would presume."
She listened to Appleleaf introduce herself
"Suiting. I'm Sephora."

Shiverwhisker didn't move. "You ran into a tree, Stonekit was with you." he meowed. The tom got to his paws and turned his back and flicked his tail. "I need some poppy and wet moss." he called, hoping one of the medicince cats would hear him. Mistsplash would need them if her headach was not to slow them down tremenecly.

"While I think you'd be fine. Loyalties amongst us right now, are the last thing any one is worried about really. As long as there is food and a nest to sleep in I think that is about as happy as any cat will be right now." Appleleaf mewed. "You'd be sursprised, even some of the warriors themselves don't agree with the warrior code all the time. They are more like... guide lines at times." Appleleaf tucked her paws under her chest. "Sephora..." Appleleaf copied her name. It sounded strange to a cat that had only ever known warrior names. "Strange, but it's the cat that determines ones self, not what they are called."

Sephora smiled
"I had said the same thing about the code to an apprentice. Not even very long ago."
She stretched slowly, her paws sliding forward
"Food and a nest... cats aren't as picky as I recall."
She blinked once, her gaze traveling to the sky. Thoughts mulling over in her mind, she didn't think she wanted to join the clan... yet. But maybe she would, and it would be difficult latter on. Then again, she could always join and if things went horribly she could make a rather swift retreat from the life. She had the feeling a former kittypet and loner may not be as accepted as a clan born cat, but it could work.
"Who knows, I might join, might not. My destiny has yet to be determined."
