when did we decide we could only have four cats each??
because honestly i don't see how that is fair
some people (like me) have many (MAAANY) cats that they are emotionally attached to still, and would prefer to not get rid of

I do not see how limiting it to four is far to some of the members who have been here a while and have more cats than those who have been here for longer periods of time
hoenstly i would rather keep all my cats (maybe pruning out one or two) or no cats at all simply because of my emotional bonds i have which each one and the time i have spent into putting together their character.

Yeah, that's what I keep trying to say about that proposed rule. I agree with Fish here, I'm attached to more than four and I'm going to end up attached to more than four XD

Alright here is a proposal...
Everyone can keep their cats, but for every month they can only make one new one (including kits), and it will not rollover to the next month as well, so let's say you start in january and make 12 new cats in december. That is not allowed. You simply get one every month if you wish to make one, if not, forever hold your peace.
The new forum goes into Invite Only Roleplays a therefore, nobody new will join so it will remain fair for them unless we see fit to open it up to someone.
And lets say if you have 4 or less cats right now, you can make two new ones right now if you see fit.

because with these rules that somehow were voted on without a vote (at least i was excluded??)

i completely disagree and honestly like i said above, I would rather quit than follow this rule.

i fully agree, i hate the four-five cat rule. i love fish's proposal. let me see if i get this straight - say you start with four cats now, and then, in march, you may make ONE new one, and it's like that each month? if i understand correctly?

follow-up: if i did understand correctly, this will really help with nursery overcrowding. since you can only make one cat each month, this includes queen's kits, right? that's where most of the overcrowded Clan problem comes in, after all. if you want your she-cat to have kits, and both parents plan on keeping one, they'll have to use their new cat that month to make the kit.

Exactly! That's what I was thinking!
And yes, if you start with lets say six cats now, come March you may make one new cat/kit.
If you don't make one by the end of March, you may now make one in April, but your March cat is gone.
Nursery overpopulation would decrease with this, seeing most would have their cats have one kit or less each month, but you could still offer to give lots away to others c:

I will list my cats soon! (I'm on moblie) I agree with Fish's rule too. I honestly hate the 1-8 cats rule, but one new cat each mouth sounds perfect.

I wouldn't mind making the untold stories thread. In fact I would love to if anybody else doesn't want to.

[Okay, that seems alright, Fish. I say queen's kits shouldn't count towards the limit. If the nursery/clan gets crowded, then we can limit the kits each queen has in a litter to only 2 or 3. Same thing if you're reverting your cats back to kits.
Wait, that just reminded me of something. Who would be the mothers of cats that were reverted back to kits? (Like Goldy and Nighty.)]

if that is the case, so be it. I'm not having
anymore than four cats since pages back we
said we had to post 4+ sentences. also the fact
it is way to many to have even just 5 cats. I'm only
trying to suggest ideas to keep the front page
cleaned up and not how it is now, with a ton of cats
you guys may not even remember.
