Nieva shook in anger fighting the urge to race after the mare and kill her, but as she looked back at Storm she wailed and collapsed by his side. "Storm please! Wake up!" she cried and rested her head on his flank tears rolling from her eyes.

((*sniffles, is he really dead?))

Chance watched Mahogany disappear, her pelt flecked with sweat as she raised her head. Snorting softly, she turned to look at Storm, the stallion still lying unmoving on the ground. Looking at Nieva and Nessa, she frowned, her expression becoming as cold and full of hatred as it had been when she was glaring at Mahogany. I was managing fine on my own! Before these two mares came in and interfered! Lowering her head until her muzzle was just above the ground, she sighed quietly, her eyes falling on the body of Storm. I was just about to get an answer out of Mahogany when those two came! If they hadn't come in I would have found out why she attacked Storm!

Nessa kept nudging Storms side, nuzzling his face. He looked almost peaceful. 'Storm please, please Storm,' She then turned to Mahogany. 'You evil old mare! Why would you do this?' She stood between Storm and the mare, every part of her small stocky body shaking with anger 'This doesn't change anything! You're still not welcome in this herd and you NEVER will be. So why don't you just run away to wherever you came from!'

"Are you blind?" Chance snorted, raising her head and the coldness returning to her eyes as she glared at Nessa. "Mahogany's gone!" Turning away, the bay mare walked away from the small group of mares crowded around Storm, her ears laid back against her head as she lay down. Resting her head on the ground, she narrowed her eyes to slits, the coldness disappearing only to be replaced by sadness, despair and longing. Sighing, Chance closed her eyes, her body and mind finally being ruled out by exhaustion.

Nessa turned. Was it her head messing with her?

'I-i. . .' But she didn't know what to say.

[yuki,]

Chance awoke, raising her head from the ground sharply, her eyes wide and her ears laid back against her head. Looking around her, she soon calmed down, seeing that she was safe. Sighing softly, she rose from where she lay and shook her pelt, looking over at Storm.

Nessa hung her head in sadness. Without a leader, who would make decisions around here? she looked over to chance. Im not taking advice from her, she thought and went over to her mother.

[Faint]

(Thing is I have two charries which are taking the highest poitions of them all. Felicity should have been dead not Storm. I may have Storm alive but Felicity will be taken off lead mare in order for it to be fair for all the others ^^)
Storm was clearly injured and maybe even dead, but even though many wanted to have him alive, Storm didn't really feel that he should live.

Nieva lets tears fall onto Storms cooling body. "Storm I don't know if you can hear me but I need to say something." she whispered. "Storm I want to say thank you, for not leaving me after the attack, and I-I......" Nieva stopped and decided not to say it.

Nessa lay her head on her mothers side, wishing things hadn't happened like this. She wished they had never entered the forest, even though they had needed too. She wished the wolves never found them, even though she couldn't have stopped them. And most of all, she wished Mahogany had never showed up. why did she appear into their herd in the first place?
