Bristlepelt had been in the forest a while now. Several hours at least. Just to be alone and enjoy the forest. Besides he had some things to think about, after all he was the new deputy that was housing a badger in the territory. His thoughts were intereupted by the nearby snarl of a cat followed by a large grunt he reconized as Obelix. Terror shot through him but he bolted upright and dashed towards the jungle of trees to find the cat.
"Silentwhisper," He meowed a careful tone. "Back away. It could attack any moment." Of course he knew that wasn't true at all. He was a gentle badger. He silently apologized to Obelix as he treated him like he had never met him before.

Windfall continued to make a mental list of things to tell Thunderstorm to snatch for her as she waited for the sun to rise. She helped the other cat with the thorn in the paw and succeeded to make it fall out. She got rid of the thorn so no one gets unpleasantly surprised.

Bearclaw felt her chest tighten as she kept repeating the same words over and over, her eyes glued to the stars. Her eyes shone like glass, with little hope left in her whole being.

Hailstorm gingerly placed her paw on the ground, glad that the thorn was out. "Thanks Windfall" She mewed gratefully.

Windfall eversoslightly nodded, trailing off to the corners of the den, annoyed by the lack of herbs. "Where is my apprentice..?" She asked herself looking around for her. She stepped out of the den, her ears twitching. The scent she left was old and almost faded, next to her a scent of the cat you'd never want to get lost with, also from the same day from when her apprentice had disappeared. She was gone. Windfall decided to wait for the sun to rise before going to Volantstar, so she nervously just went back into the den.

Starkit leapt to another tree, but miscalculated her jump and landed on a small, slender branch that shook and bobbed underneath her. She squeaked in fear. "Help!"

Ottersplash leaps over and grabs the kit. She jumps to sturdier branch. "You ok?"

(Not that one...)

Shakily, Starkit managed to stand on the branch. "Yes, thanks," she said. She looked down, noticing how high she was and how badly she would've been hurt if she'd fallen. Unintentionally ignoring the cat that saved her, she jumped to the next tree.

Ottersplash watches the kit she thought to be ignorant. She chases it through the trees. "You should be with a queen. Or your clan."

Thunderstar looked to Bearclaw. "Are you blind...?"

Silentwhisper gulped. "W-what?"

Bearclaw snapped from her trans and glanced at him. "Isn't that a perfect thing to ask someone when you see them the first time after they had a mental breakdown because of you?" She said, her voice cold. She then shook her head again, snapping from another trans. "Oh.. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." She said in her normal voice, a part of the thing actually a lie. Since she did mean half of it.
"I'm not blind.. Just can't see on one eye." She sighed, looking down.
