Oakfur hissed slightly but was glad to be able to go out on patrol. He looked at the cats that would be out with him. Hmmm, four apprentices and two mentors. The young ones shouldn't give me any trouble it'll just be Lightningtail and Smokestorm. Oh well, maybe I'll still be able to get some food for myself. Oakfur thought and grinned. He stretched and flexed his claws then sat down to wait until everyone was ready.

Doveheart worried slightly when Stormstar pulled her from her cage. Then registering the words he had said she relaxed a bit. Hunting patrol! Yes! I can't wait to get out and be able to stretch my legs, of course I'll just have to come back here, she looked back at her cage, oh well. Smokestorm! He's so handsome, too bad he has a mate. Her eyes narrowed at her last thought. Licking her fur she smoothed it down again even though it was already as smooth and straight as it could be.

Heartpound padded through the forest hastily, her tabby coat blending into the foilage. She was walking backwards, swiping the pine frond over her trail. She was closer to Hawkfang and Dante than before, and she was making progress. She padded along quietly, focusing on her work.

(Sigh, there's nothing for me to do. Oh, anybody got any ideas when Foxwing should have kits?)
Foxwing sighed and rolled over. Her belly was full of kits, and she licked it. Names, again, raced through her mind. Flicking her tail, she dissmissed them. She didn't need anything telling her what to name her kits. But a little help from Starclan would be nice. Closing her eyes, she pleaded with Starclan for help with her kits. She tried to fall asleep.

Hawkfang lugged the apprentice along painfully. He looked like a Robinpaw. Was he a Robinpaw? He thought he'd seen this apprentice once before on a raiding patrol, as part of a border patrol. The cats had been calling him 'Robinpaw' and telling him to get back to camp, which he'd hurried to comply to. Well, if these cats thought their apprentice was going to be saved from BloodClan, then they were wrong! The BloodClan cats wanted him to become a slave, and that was exactly what he would do!
He had never seen the she-cat before, though, and he pondered over it as he ran.

Shiff and Slight pressed together, and prowled up to Oakfur as one.
"We'll be watching you," Shiff growled.
"I have my eye on you!" Slight added.
"I know what you did on your last hunting patrol." That was Shiff.
"You ate." Slight's voice was low and growly. "You ate!" Now, her voice was considerably more high-pitched.
"I didn't say anything about it last time, but I think I'll have quite some fun punishing you if you dare step out of line, or even take a bite of your prey!" Shiff hissed.
"So, watch out!" Slight snarled, and the two stalked away again. However, they sat down just a little ways away in a spot where they could easily see Oakfur.

Heartpound weaved through the ferns and bushes, her flank moving slightly faster than it had before. It was hot, and Heartpound had been travelling fast. She had just emerged out of the clan territories, and had gratefully given up her pine frond. That had been long and tedious work...And it ha set her back farther than she expected, time-wise. She started to climb that steep hill that eventually led into the territory of Bloodclan, relishing every patch of shade she passed through.

Hawkfang and Dante lugged along their "precious bundles", as some of the slave masters might call them.
"I think... I can see... BloodClan... territory... in the distance!" Hawkfang gasped out.
"No, you can't," Dante meowed scornfully. "That looks just like every tree and rock and bush we've passed so far! But I think I do recognize that clearing," he meowed, nodding toward one that looked suspicious like a training clearing just outside of BloodClan's territory. "I think we're almost home!"
"Yay!" Hawkfang smiled, gave a little hop, and continued on, re-energized now that he knew that he was nearly back.
