Veiled by a Song: PM to Join (Fox RP)

Jakei nodded and sat next to Yuri, his ears swiveling around his head, anxious to pick up any movement of the foxes returning home.

Jupiter nodded and held the key tightly, but carefully in her small jaws. She padded off towards the leash entrance, feeling better now that she was moving once more.

[Calypso Sky]

Copper looked up when he heard Jupiter come through, her mouth was suprisingly shut, and she didn't seem to be bleeding too bad. He craned his head and tried to look over her shoulder, hoping that the others were following.

"Okay that's fine!!" Flare said enthusiastically. He dropped the Robin on the ground and started to eat slowly. His mind was spinning and he wondered if things would be alright now that they had found one key.

Apollo moved closer to Soul after Jupiter padded away. "Heron, there's no reason to snap at us," he said softly. Apollo could see that this unfamiliar fox had ferocity in his eyes, but deep down, Apollo could also see that this fox wasn't dangerous.

Bluebell slowly eased herself off of the ground and slowly made her way to the pile of fresh-kill. She winced as she bent down and picked up a thrush.

Kinari and Zargon? Who are they? Heron thought to himself. Out loud, with teeth clenched, he said "I'd prefer to talk alone, Soul." Heron had let down his lips to let them know he wouldn't snap at them, but his whole body was still tense. To the little twat who had told him not to snap at them, he growled loudly and said with malice: "You have no idea what I've been through." Heron hoped this whole affair would be over soon, he desperately needed some sleep.

Wisp's mouth dropped open. "How did you... You saw..." She stopped, suddenly aware that Bluebell was right there. She hoped Bluebell hadn't heard what Shiko had said or what they were talking about. She was also afraid Soul would find out. She prayed to Kinari that he wouldn't. To Wisp, disappointing Soul was the worst thing she could do.

[Calypso Sky]

Soul nodded, "We'll talk. If you don't mind, my two SIC's well be with us, simply so that I don't have to re-explain everything to them later." The leader beckoned to all the foxes and made his way back into camp. After they all reached it, Soul decided that the best thing to do would be to explain all that had happened to his whole leash, then those who needed to sleep could get it. He was just about to go up onto his den, when he noticed Copper back in camp without Sadira. Soul flicked his tail and the apprentice bounded over. The two talked for a bit and then separated. Soul's mind was buzzing with all that had happened. Bunching his muscles beneath him, Soul jumped up onto his tree stump and looked down at the camp, calling the foxes to him so that he could announce all the news.

Leaf Fall looked up with sad eyes, finally wrenching them away from Raven to hear Soul's call. He sighed and closed his eyes, but seconds later they snapped open; he scented a new fox. Padding over quietly, he reached the tree stump where Soul held leash meetings and sat very close. Leaf Fall's eyes quietly surveyed and sensed the atmosphere around the camp. The stranger seemed fierce but trustworthy enough, or at least for now. Soul seemed at ease if not simply tired, but the rest of the foxes that he observed seemed confused and anxious. He sighed again.

Jupiter still held the ruby key in her mouth, not knowing quite what to do. Soul had called a meeting so she dutifully went over, but her mouth was still shut, and other foxes were giving her weird looks. She blushed fiercely and hoped he would announce she had found the ruby key.

"Hm..." Shiko showed a small smile, but quickly snapped back to her usual serious expression. "Look," she rolled out her leaf wrap with one swift movement of her paw. She pointed to three different herbs, one was a pile of dark, fuzzy looking leaves. The next was a pile of bright red berries, the third, a collection of pale yellow leaves that looked rather dry. "Do you know what each of these are?" she asked, but her focus quickly snapped to the returning foxes. "Ugh." she mumbled, noticing they were hurt, she hoped her apprentice knew the basic remedies and could help her out with treating these guys. "Let's wait for Soul to speak." she sighed.

Yuri bounded over to the gathering foxes and sat among them, his tail wagging fiercely, but it stopped when he noticed a new fox. "What the..." he said under his breath, his gaze fixed on the newcomer. His fur began to bristle, but he forced it to lie flat again. If Soul had let this fox in, then it must be fine.

Ryuu stalked into camp after Soul, flanking the new fox. He smelled musky and kind of earthy, like he hadn't had time to wash himself. Ryuu snorted, then murmured in this fox's ear, "I'm warning you, make one wrong move... and..." his eyes flashed fiercely, "I'll kill you." With that said, he lengthened his stride, walking beside Soul. He sat below the stump that Soul sat on to address the leash and kept his eyes on the new, shaggy fox.
