Moonshade struggled away for a split second from the tom, but he tried to hold her down still. She coughed and spluttered as she tried to form words. "Suncla-" she could feel her eyes closing with too much effort but she forced them to stare at Sunclaw. "Run...just..ru-run..." she begged quietly.
Claw yowled and the other rogue clamped his jaws on Sunclaw's leg, pulling her down forcefully. He growled.
Moonshade whimpered. "No...Claw...please..don't..." She tried to push the other rogue off her but she felt like she couldn't hold on anymore; she was losing too much blood.
Claw flicked his tail towards the tom who had Moonshade pinned and the tom knew at once what he meant. He snarled happily before baring his teeth...
Moonshade's eyes flew open and all her instincts as a Clan cat to keep on fighting to live kicked in. She arched her back hard, tossing the tom away when he loosened his grip and he was sent flying into the stream. SHe stood, throwing the other rogue off Sunclaw with such force, she looked like all of Starclan was fighting with her. But really, she felt like it because she was having flash-backs again as she tore the tom's fur fiercely, and her eyes were actually glowing now. Glowing. Two dark blue, glowing pools glowering against a mysterious, dark face. It was unnatural and a little scary, but it was enough for the tom to back off with a shriek, tail between his legs and eyes wide in fright. She stood tall, catching her breath, and flew towards Claw.
He had been trying to bite on Sunclaw's shoulder hard, before Moonshade knocked him over. He was pinned once again, but this time, she never let go, and he couldn't escape.
For some reason, Moonshade knew what was happening to her and it scared her. But hey, it helped. She looked at Sunclaw with her unblinking, glowing eyes, that seemed to not be hers, and said softly all of a sudden, "Are you alright?" She dragged on each word with concern and she sounded exactly like she did when Sunclaw was a kit.
Claw just stared, confused at why he couldn't move.

Sunclaw closed her eyes, wincing as a sudden pain washed over her. She looked up gratefully at Moonshade, but shuddered as she saw Moonshade's unnaturally glowing eyes. "Moonshade, your eyes..." She meowed, struggling to her paws.[/color]

Moonshade just blinked slowly, eyes still wide and unblinking, but seemed to fade. As she opened her eyes again, she looked confused, and stared at Claw in shock. Did I just....?
He kicked her off then, and leaped onto Sunclaw, rearing back for a killing blow.
Moonshade screeched and kicked him in the face with one hind leg, for she was on her back. Then, before he could attack again she stood and raced towards him.
Claw yowled, and his eyes never left Moonshade. He pretended to bite Sunclaw and instead only nipped her; forcing Moonshade to charge him. She pushed him away the moment he would've killed the calico she-cat, and his jaws snapped onto Moonshade's slender body. His fangs dug into her back, right where her spine was.
Moonshade's eyes shut at once and let out a yowl of alarm and anguish. She screamed in pain as he shook his head, shaking her as well.
Blood trickled against his tongue and Claw finally felt satisfied. He threw her away, smashing her against a boulder near the shore and she lay limp. He knew she was alive and pushed her against the stone over and over as the other two rogues pinned Sunclaw down.
Moonshade let out whimpers of her hurt. It was too much. The blood kept on flowing and her legs felt as though they were frozen as her whole body was searing with burning pain.
Claw finally stopped beating her, and let her fall to the ground from the boulder, his back and white pelt stained with plenty of her blood. He took a step back, smiling with satisfaction.
Moonshade's chest heaved with the effort of forcing air into her damaged lungs and she winced everytime she moved only a little. Blood pooled around her and her eyes were half open.

Claw then padded back to Sunclaw and tipped his head at her. "You do know she kept the biggest secret from you? She could've told you; but thought you wouldn't be strong enough to handle that. Believe me, I would know. She hid everything from you and let your mother die." He was always convincing and was playing with her mind as Moonshade lay far off, broken and bleeding. "She deserves nothing from you."

Sunclaw stared up at Claw; her brain seemed to have jammed. "She- she was just trying to-to save herself. She didn't do anything wrong! Please don't hurt her." Sunclaw shook her head in disgust at herself; why would they listen to her? Moonshade was hurt enough already.

It was easy to accept death, because with it came afterlife. Stars littered her pelt as she watched from above, irritated that Claw had done that. The tom responsible for her death was right in front of her, but what could she do about it besides nothing. Just waiting was torture, butshe fought back the StarClan warriors because she needed to see thisl

Moonshade hardly heard Sunclaw. She tried moving, but she couldn't. She gasped for air.
Claw smirked at Sunclaw in disgust and pity. Then he raised one paw, and landed a hard blow on her head without claws though, sending her to fall over. He lowered himself to the ground and stared at her straight on. "Oh well, I'm sure we wouldn't want her more hurt..." he smirked and decided to make different plans. She couldn't live through this. And if by some fluke she did, then no one would believe her when she would try to warn all of them of Tigerstripe; they'd all think she'd gone crazy. It was a perfect plan; for it was true. He purred horribly and pushed her a little before standing and disappearing into the forest quickly. The two other rogues followed him, glaring at Sunclaw and one of them smirked and slashed his claws against Moonshade's side before retreating too.
Moonshade moaned in pity anguish and her eyes were closed fully now. Her breathing was uneven and shaky. Her chest wasn't even heaving anymore; not even trying to breath properly. She couldn't move and her entire body was cut and bruised and covered in blood. She couldn't comprehend anything more than her pain. She didn't even know Sunclaw was alright. Sunclaw...Sunclaw...where are you....

Sunclaw rushed to Moonshade's side, not caring about the persistent ringing in her head. "Moonshade! Wake up! Not you too..." She tried to stem the flow of tears, but it was hopeless. Sunclaw slumped against a tree, body shaking with sobs.

Moonshade didn't move for a few moments, and it seemed that she really was dead. But she wouldn't let herself slip away. Not now. Not when Sunclaw and Foxchaser need her still. She would never let them or Morningdove down. Then, after a while, her beautifully shattered eyes fluttered open. She let out a pained breath but still didn't move yet. She stared at Sunclaw through exhausted, worn-out eyes filled with torture. "Sunclaw..." she whispered feebly, "I would.. never leave you..." She raised one forepaw above the ground a mouse-length upwards, trying to reach Sunclaw, but she was too far. Please come here, love.... All she wanted was to have her close to her. She needed to feel that she wasn't hallucinating.

Sunclaw raised her head, joy flooding through her, though she still shook with fear that Claw and his goons might come back. "Moth-Moonshade... get up...we need to go back to TimberClan. We need to warn them. We need to bring Morningdove's body back." She moved closer to Moonshade, breathing in her familiar scent.

Moonshade blinked tiredly and stared at the still body of Morningdove. Are you watching us now, Morningdove? She sighed as she tried to hold back tears for Sunclaw's sake. Once she felt her adoptive kit near her, it comforted the dark grey tabby. She swallowed hard. "I- I'll try.." she raised her head and pushed herself up a little with her forelegs. But they shook with the effort and searing they felt. She felt back to the ground, panting and wincing. "I...I can't do it, Sunclaw..." she mumbled hopelessly. When they were kits, Moonshade had always acted calm, strong, and always knew what to do. Now, that cat was gone; she'd suffered through too much.
