MintPaw silently slipped out of the camp. Her brown tabby pelt blended fairly well with her surroundings. She wanted to talk to AdderPaw--even if he had snapped at her when he left.

MintPaw didn't quite know where she might find AdderPaw. She suddenly caught his scent. She didn't know why, but she followed it, sticking to the darkest places where she could blend. She knew she was being reckless and her brother would probably kill her if she found out, but she didn't care. She wanted him to know that she didn't hate him, even if he despised her.
