Dovestar released a hiss, moving so she stood beside Ivyclaw, and slightly in front of her. "Rainsong," she gazed at the warrior incredulously. "This isn't your matter to deal with." She lashed her tail, but couldn't help it as her gaze flickered to where Miststar had disappeared. Why had she fled? These were matters the leaders had to deal with all the time. If she couldn't handle just this... Dovestar shook her head, forgetting the thoughts, before any cat noticed she had wandered away from the topic of interest. "Ivyclaw, MoonClan has told us they've seen you stealing the prey...deny it if it's not true, but if it is...just clear this up for us, please, Ivyclaw."

As every cat knows, no cat is to fight when there is a Gathering. So why are they fighting? Icepelt thought. Looking at Ironstar, she hoped he would tell her something, maybe a flick of his tail, or a shrug. When nothing came, she stood up and sat at a better spot, closer to where the riot was.

Duststorm waited for Ivyclaw to answer. Would she steal prey?


Ivyclaw looked up and down nervously. She decided, that if she lied, she would probably be killed, but if she told the truth....she would probably be killed. So, as a matter of fact, there was no upside. "I...I did." she said sadly. "I stole prey. Just kill me now if you want to. But yes. I'm no longer lying. I stole some."

Ironstar - Stormclan Leader
Ironstar's jaw clenched and he shook his head with disappointment. A cat strealing prey from another clan was a big deal. It could be considered an open threat. He knew from the past that if a clan stole prey, they usually meant to steal territory as well. But he was unsure about this situation. It appeared that Dovestar had no idea that her clan member had done this. He glanced at Icepelt, and seeing that she was obviously searching for some sort of reassurance, he waved his tail at her.

Ivyclaw looked down, just wanting to leave. "I'm sorry."

Icepelt nodded at Ironstar.
