Echostorm stiffled a purr of laughter. "See what I mean?" She mewed cheerfully, licking a paw and bringing it over her ear.

Oliveblaze popped his eyes out for a second before getting to his paws and shaking his pale ginger pelt. "We should probably get back to camp," he said breezily. "We don't want our prey to go stale in the dirt!" He studied Echostorm's small, lithe frame. She looked like she was pretty speedy. "Race you back to camp!" he challenged.

Large, fluffy greyish-beige tom covered in darker tiger stripes. Blue eyes. His body is covered with various scars from past fights.

Can be very serious and aggressive if he needs to be, and is very protective of his little tribe/clan. Usually he is very fair and will listen to what you have to say, but he can be very stubborn and opinionated. He is not one you want to be in bad terms with.

Echostorm smirked, her eyes narrowed, and looked as if thinking for a moment. "Well, you know, I don't want to hurt your feelings when you lose..." With a cheerful laugh she took off towards camp, her tail streaming behind her. She was barely aware of the fact that she hadn't caught anything as her paws sped over the forest floor. She'd just have to go out again later to find some prey.

Oliveblaze scoffed but kept on running, the squirrel weighing him down slightly.

Jaystar looked to his patrol. "Should we just go? We've been waiting for a while."

Echostorm picked up her speed until her paws were barley touching the ground before they were off it again. Her fur was completely dry by then. She skidded to a stop when she reached camp, not even sure wheather of not she won.

"Yeah," Adderwhisker nodded, "let's go." He stepped across the boundary and began moving towards the camp. His tail waved in the air as a signal for others to follow, and Briarstep bounded quickly after him.

Oliveblaze stopped next to Echostorm a split second after she arrived. "You won," he said through the squirrel's fur. "But I had a squirrel hanging from my mouth," he mumbled.

Echostorm shrugged. "Hey, you didn't say it had to be fair." She purred innocently, a smile lighting up her face.

Hawkstar just sat, watching his clan with pride. Leaving their home had been hard, but they had made the long journey here from the city's wastelands. This place was like a paradise for them. They didn't have to fight against other clans for food anymore. The kits could grow up strong instead of having to struggle day and night. Some of the adults were already gaining weight, their coats slowly becoming shinier and no longer looking like skeletons covered in a thin coat of flesh and fur.
