RiverStone spotted her mate and his apprentice and grinned "Hey you two! Care to join our little bet?" She purred

SeaWing turned to SilverStorm "Who do you think will win?" He mewed "RiverStone or SeaWing? I got my bet on SeaWing, he's the best hunter." The tom boasted teasingly, He was obviously joking, and started to laugh half-way through his sentence.

Scarface nodded, "In some ways I do, but I also enjoy the quiet..." He grunted. His scarred ears twitching slightly as he listened to his mate.

SpiritPaw let out a loud yelp and tumbled out of his nest, his green eyes wide with shock. "Who? What-" He stammered, before he saw WhiteStrike. "Oh G-good m-morning Whitestrike." He mewed to his Cousin, awkwardly.

Mocha turned his glare back to TwilightFur "You've never even seen a twoleg! You're opinion is mouse-brained. My twolegs happen to be very smart." He huffed, angrily. He frowned "Might I add that you "clan cats" groom yourselves too?" His ears flattened against his cranium "I'm so sorry if me trying to look like a cat instead of a mangy, flea-bitten dog, offends you." He mewed, sarcastically. Mocha frowned again too bad those other clan cats didn't come back, I could've asked them if I could- He shook off his next thought. No! He would never leave his twolegs, they were kind to him, much kinder than these clan cats, that's for sure. Mocha's golden eyes drifted back over to the other female, who still hadn't told him her name, he refused to let a confused expression enter his facial regions and just stared at her, a small hiss escaping his muzzle.

(I promise Mocha gets nicer XD He's not gonna be a jerk all the time.)

“Yes we groom ourselves, but not thirty times a day.” She grunted. He probably doesn’t know she left the Clan to become a loner. “I have seen Twolegs, and been trapped by many, many Twolegs when I was young. I have no intentions of becoming a kittypet.” She growled. “May I ask why you eat those hard brown pellets, that have no taste?”

Ashstar's eyes widened. His ears perked up as well. "Calm down, Whitestrike." The tom huffed. "Thank you for letting me know." He shook his head in disappointment. "I'll be sure to speak to the tom about his actions. If he can not give me a valid reason for his actions then he will be punished." Dipping his head, the leader continued, "Now if you'll excuse me, it seems I have someone else waiting for me." Not far behind the warrior, he noticed Cloudypaw sitting patiently. Padding over to the apprentice he grinned. "I'm sorry Cloudypaw. I've been a terrible mentor to you lately." Glancing over at the medicine cat den, he knew Firewillow, Sunfeather, and Rainypaw would be able to take good care of his mate. "We'll go train right now if you would like." His smile turned genuine. "I'll teach you whatever you want to learn today."

Nightpaw's eyes widened. "Okay!" He exclaimed. Though the thought of testing made him a little anxious, he knew it would be worth it in the end. "Another apprentice..." The tom thought out loud as his gaze drifted around the clearing. "Dawnpaw and Darkpaw seem free. Maybe one of them could go with us?" He looked back up at his mentor. "Are you friends with either of their mentors?" He didn't want to make Sootnose train with someone she wasn't comfortable with. "I don't really mind how I train as long as I get to train!" The smile on his muzzle was shining brightly. Quite a contrast to his usual cold self. Being so close to becoming a warrior was enough to make anyone happy.

Falconblaze nodded. "I like how you think." He wiped his paw over his ear, hoping his fur didn't appear to ruffled and messy. "I suppose he doesn't put much thought into whether the two cats would truly be happy with one another." He let out a snort. "I think he's too blinded by his affections for Dappledheart to care about anything else." Shaking his head he added, "Pretty lousy sounding leader if you ask me. However, I'm not one to judge so..." A sigh escaped the tom's mouth. "I agree though. Dappledheart would probably be much better of a matchmaker."

Speckledust gave Badgerpaw a cheeky grin as they padded away to join the patrol. "You two are pretty close in age aren't you?" He asked quietly. "If you stick by her a lot, Ashstar may assign you two together." The tom chuckled. "Don't worry. We'll make this patrol quick so you can hurry and get back to her." A hint of playfulness could be detected in his voice. "Come on, let's hurry and catch up with the others!" His pace quickened as he padded out of camp. It didn't take long for him to pick up the scent of his mate and the others. Following the scent trail, he had finally caught up, only to see they were already finding prey.

A smile grew on his muzzle at the sight of Riverstone. "I'm a little scared to know what kind of bet you have going on." The tom snickered. "What's the bet? Maybe I will join!" He nudged Badgerpaw playfully. "Badgerpaw will probably wanna get in on this too!"

Ryebreeze smiled warmly. "Thats good to hear!" He chirped happily. "I slept great as well. We all need to take advantage of these warmer days before leafbare arrives." The tom faked a shiver. "Can you just imagine it?" He chuckled. "Padding around in cold, wet snow!" He shook his head. "It's terrible I tell you! Just terrible!" The tom's chuckle turned into a hearty laugh. "You're so lucky with your long fur to keep you warm." An awkward expression melted over his face. "You should pray to Starclan that when you have kits they have long fur too." A soft grin rested on his muzzle.

Honeykit was still admiring how large everything was when all of the sudden she was knocked over. The small white and orange she-cat turned her head to see who had crashed into her. "Sagekit!" She huffed. "Watch where you're going!" Stumbling back up to her paws she shook her head. "Where did you go!?" Her eyes shifted to the nursery. "Mama's going to be mad if she knows we're out here!"

Ashpaw listened to what Rainypaw had to say, she was taken back by Rainyaw's response but it wouldn't surprise her too much. She seemed highly intelligent for her age. Ashpaw silently wished she could've been somewhat like Rainypaw, even after what she had said. It stuck with the grey feline. When she had mentioned the Twoleg placed she remembered a fuzzy memory. "I remember going to the twolegs there as a kit...but i forgot how come.., but I know it wasn't the best time I had there." Ashpaw told her sheepishly, "I don't mind helping y-you guys help if this rogue think continues to interfere with getting whatever the two of you need." Something settled her off whenever the mention of rogues was say. Ashpaw didn't know the reason of course, it simply gave her a bad vibe as if something was bound to happen. "I think it's best to go at your own pace Rainypaw, it's not a race or a-anything." Ashpaw pointed out.

RiverStone gave her mate a small smirk. "Whoever gets the most prey wins. Whoever gets the least amount of prey has to do something for the winner." She chuckled softly "I know who's going to lose...!"
She grinned over her shoulder at SeaWing, who let out a mew of protest.

Mocha's eyes narrowed further. "It's food. And I don't eat those pellets. I'm not that kind of kittypet." He murmured. "Most of my friends are indoor cats, though..." He wished some of his friends were here now, but after they found out he wanted to explore the forest and was even considering joining a clan they had avoided him for awhile. Only one of his friends had really wanted to talk to him after that, but her twolegs left. "Why do you care anyway? You're a clan cat and I'm a kittypet. Why are you two even here?" He hissed, glancing at TwilightFur and then the other female, back to TwilightFur.

Sootnose glanced over towards the apprentices before she offered a small shrug, if she was to be honest with herself she didn't really have any friends besides one or two cats. But she wasn't going to say that out loud to her apprentice. She wanted him to do better than she had. "I don't mind whoever you decide to train with is fine by me." she replied offering him a small smile. She wanted nothing more than to keep this happiness going and help him become a warrior. Nothing, not even her own shyness, was going to get in the way of that.

Rainypaw offered her a sympathetic look "Oh, well i'm sorry about that but you don't have to go back if you don't want to." she assured her. That look turned into a small smile and she nodded "I appreciate it, hopefully this won't last too long and things can go back to normal for all of us." she replied. She bounced slightly, clearly excited "Oh yes of course! Everyone goes at their own pace and has their own strengths. It's simply amazing! I love to get to know everyone and see them improve and work. I'm so proud of everyone! Especially you warrior apprentices. You've all come so far and you're going to go even farther! Some of you might even be a future leader or deputy!" her eyes sparkled slightly as she spoke.
