The curious tom heard a noise and he padded towards it. Thorns from some sort of a berry bush snatched onto the tom's pelt and he let out a low hiss of annoyance. ''Foxdung!'' He mumbled some curses and pulled his fur free from the thorns of the bush. He smelled the scent of a cat. ''Hello?''

Hunter padded through the forest slowly, his ears pricked for any signs of life. A bird fluttered overhead, a squirrel darted through a bush.
No, what he was looking for was bigger.

He had heard rumors from the other loners in the Walker places that groups of cats lived in the forests of these parts. He didn't like wandering on his own, and no other large groups ever formed in Walker places that he could feel comfortable with.
It's not like he couldn't handle himself, it's just that having somewhere to belong was a better alternative. It's a better one than going back into one of those Walker's dwellings. He didn't need another one dying on him and then trapping him in the dwelling. The first time was bad enough, and got him in this mess.

A mouse darted right past his toes, and snapped him out of his thoughts. Maybe hunting something wouldn't hurt... His stomach growled in agreement, so he stepped into the shade of some bushes and waited.

He dipped his head as a sign of respect as he recognized the Darkforest leader. The tom lifted his head back up after he had waited a decent amount of time. ''How are you, Ivystar?'' He sat down on a spot of ground that wasn't covered in uncomfortable plants and waited for the she-cat's reply.
