He said " Are you going to put me in the water? I don't want to go in the water!" He started backing away, his stubby legs trying to go backwards. He tripped, tumbling backwards, then he sat up, stopping, far away from the puddle, or it was far to him at least.

"Of course not! I´m only using the water to groom you better. Due to this heat, my tounge is dryer than dirt." She meowed, a bit sternly, but quickly calmed and went over to LeafKit, giving the kit a gentle nudge."Now come on, we don´t have all day." She meowed and went back to sit by the puddle.

Leafkit huffed, then stomped over to where his mother was. He said " This is boring! I want to do something fun!" He whined. He looked up, his fluffy kit-fur all messed up from his sleep.

She gave a few rough strokes over the puddle before starting to groom LeafKits messy fur. She ignored the kits whines, and soon finished grooming."All done." She meowed with a light purr.

Leafkit said " There's no one to play with! What can I do?" Then he dashed off, deciding to explore the camp more. He saw a den that was dark, and decided to check it out. He didn't know it was Ravenstar's den, though. He creeped in, seeing it was dark, but went on. He said quietly " Woah..." Then he bumped into a cat, saying " Oops." He looked up, seeing nothing, but felt something.

She looked down at LeafKit, a calm smile appearing on her face."Leafkit? What brings you here?" She asked calmly, staring down at the young kit.

"LeafKit!" She meowed sternly and went after the kit, hurrying into RavenStars den. She quickly saw RavenStar, and dipped her head respectfully."My apologies RavenStar. He just got a bit lost." She meowed quickly before picking up LeafKit and carrying him out of the den.

"Really? What did you see this time?" He asked curiously as he nudged all the gatherd moss into one place. He sat down by it, listening carefully to BatPaws words.

Batpaw shuffled his paws, licking his ebony maw nervously. I know it's not a prophecy... relax Windtail... "A she-cat." Realizing that wasn't much to go on, the blind apprentice shifted. "A dead she-cat, floating in the lake I told you about. I think she was my mom."

Pikefang felt ill. He wasn't sure when the last time he'd ate or even moved from the grave; it was like he'd awoken, and realized he had to move. Standing up, the large tom padded towards camp, his ears erect but his whiskers still drooping. How had it happened? So quickly... it truly bothered the senior warrior. Blinking his jade eyes into focus, he spotted a mouse; creeping forth, he began to stalk it, only then realizing how hungry he was. I have to keep moving... right?
