He reached the den in no time, determined to find out what happened. But he saw that they were quite badly injured, and Shivertail busied herself in treating them. Adderfang didn't seem too badly injured so Owlstar turned to him.
"Adderfang. Tell me, what happened with Sparkstep? Is Tumblekit alright?" He queried, still on all fours as he looked seriously at his deputy.winter stone. wrote:

Icewhisker mewed quietly to Fernstripe, "Sparkstep is dead." She hobbled back to the medicine cat den. "Silverdawn killed her. She's gone now." The she cat sighed tiredly, flooping flopping back down on her nest.

As the tom stepped out of the nursery he notcied something very strange. Stormpaw covered in dried blood, a dead body and wounded cats. On instinct he ran to her. " Stormpaw!? Why are you covered in dried blood? you don't seem to be wounded.." he meowed worry in his voice.
Shivertail quickly glanced at stormpaw "sure any help would be appreciated" she purred as she stopped for a moment to rest her front paws "could you get me some more Poppy seeds and more wet moss" she asked kindly, as she saw the apprentice run off she looked back at icewhisker slowly,shaking her head "I always knew sparkstep would be a traitor" she whispered as she stopped treating silverdawn and looked at icewhisker, she examined icewhisker belly very slowly and concentrating, she placed her ears on her belly, hearing the tiny heartbeats and felt a little kick in her muzzle, she immiadlty sat up again amused "your kits are fine, you just need to rest for the day now" she purred, happy "but you could have put you and your kits in danger icewhisker your very lucky that it's just a scratch, one of your kits could of been hurt or worse, dead" she add sternly.
Adderfang stand on all fours, he stopped grooming himself and didn't pay attention to his wounds and how much they ached, his tail swaying side to side slowly, his claws scraping the dirt as he looked at owlstar with his big, brown eyes seriously but happy inside "Tumblekit is fine, just shocked but he is with Shivertail I think or with another clan mate" he reported before picking up sparksteps cold, stiff body and placed it in front of owlstar "and as for that cold hearted cat? Well I pinned her down and silverdawn killed her, very simple but it wouldn't of happened and Tumblekit wouldn't been killed if sharktooth, fernstripe(?), silverdawn and icewhisker came to help" he said at last, catching his breath.
