(Oh no! I hope your muse comes back! D: I hate it when that happens! Especially since there's nothing you can really do about it.. My muse has been dead for quite a while, but with the new year comes new episodes of Gravity Falls and that show serves as my muse! For now, though, I'll have to be content with listening to theories and sharing my own.)

"Anything evil was forced out, even if it was just something without a physical form, like spirits or plague." I noticed her glance at the cat and grinned. "You're probably wondering what this cat is doing in this shack, huh?" The cat quit its stare and curled up again. It seemed to be sleeping again. That "cat" had a strange history and I hadn't even known about it until recently.

"Oh, okay," she said. "And yes, I am wondering why a random cat decided to stay in a shack in a forest." She glanced at it. Cats could talk here, right? She'd seen several on the way here, from where she'd woke up in the field to the store she was just at twenty minutes ago, and most were talking or laughing. But the cat didn't seem to have that ability, or just didn't want to speak. It was presumably an adult, but about the size of a newborn kitten - much smaller than Jaylor, and about the size of Piefan. As if understanding they were talking about it, the cat curled up and closed its eyes, actually sleeping this time.

"Well, you know how the pet that put an enchantment on this place was never seen again?" I said, delighted to share another story. "There are lots of rumours that the pet wasn't deleted by his spell, but cursed. When I.. found this place, I had only heard of those rumours recently. This shack was one of the oldest buildings in ChickenSmoothie, but the only thing here was this black cat. I noticed that I never saw it leave the shack, so I figured it must be cursed here with magic or something. The more I watched it, though, the more I noticed that it did some strange things when it thought no one was looking. One time, I caught it lighting the fireplace, which I had been trying to do since I got there. But that wasn't the weird part; it was doing it just by looking at the wood! Not many pets can do magic like that, especially the minor pets." I hoped Piefan was familiar with that term. It's what I called the "item" pets that came every event. "Eventually, I became too curious for secrecy and asked the cat if it was magic, which was pretty obvious without me asking. It looked at me strangely and nodded. A few days later, after seeing it do a ton of things normal minor pets shouldn't be able to do, I asked it if it was once a pet, which was a pretty crazy question, but it answered with another yes! Then I asked it if it was the pet from the Peace Forest Legend, and I honestly thought it would finally say no, but it nodded." The cat, sleeping in the corner, started to purr. "The pet from the legend was cursed to be a minor pet as punishment for using such a powerful spell. Now he's the cat you see today." I haven't heard a minor pet talk, but if he really wanted to, I bet the black cat could hex himself to speak.

Lulius smiled and chuckeld."It is pretty dark, let's get going to the headquarters."

"Okay madam!" He laughed and bounce happily towards the exit
"Oh wait, Before we go i wanna go and find my-" He tripped over something and fell
"Nevermind, Found it!" he picked up the thing, Or which is his Snake.

'Yep, that's a whole lot of stories,' Piefan thought, her brain taking a moment to register the long tale she'd just heard. When it did, she was filled with questions. "So he got punished for protecting future people who went into the forest?" How grateful of them. Without waiting for an answer, she spoke again. "Who even decided on that punishment anyway? And what's a 'minor pet'?" Finally, she stopped her questions, letting Jaylor talk without getting interrupted. She looked back at the small black cat, which had now started purring. Maybe it had woken up and was listening, maybe it was dreaming about when he was an actual pet, but she assumed the latter, as it looked to still be fast asleep, still curled up. Her opinions of it had changed. Rather than thinking it was weird, she thought it was amazing! It could do magic? Cool! Though of course, he'd used a powerful spell to banish the evils, so she should have expected him to be able to be skilled in doing that, but she was still amazed.

I shrugged. "With great power comes great consequences. Like, for every attack, there's a counterattack." I wasn't sure who got to choose the punishment, only that the punishment was chosen. "Minor pets are... I guess I'be heard them called "items" before by other pets, but some of them don't like to be called that. They can't talk to pets like me. I guess they're kind of like your pets in your world." I wasn't sure how to explain minor pets to a human who hadn't heard of the term.

Piefan tore her gaze from the pure black cat to talk to Jaylor. Minor pet. I'll have to remember that term, she noted mentally. So that was what they were called? She had always wondered what pets would refer to them as, in a hypothetical situation that CS pets were real. But she'd refer to them as 'weird pet-like things that are actually items but have a weird resemblance to animals.' Well, at least she had a shorter name to refer to them as. "So do minor pets depend on the 'major' pets for food and stuff like that?" she asked, curious. He'd said that they were like pets in her world.
