Sephora watched the dozer from a distance, listening to the very familiar hum. There had been one of these back in the kittypet days, it had helped clear the area to make a new house from what she recalled. Why would it be so far out? She watched it for awhile before moving a bit closer and walking parallel to it, listening to the roar closely. It almost felt as if she was escorting it... well, escorting it while being about fifteen fox length away. but still, escorting it.
"Farewell, good sir."
She had addressed the bulldozer before abandoning her path and setting off at a smooth lope. A jog in human terms. She was headed towards the clan, this was the perfect time to observe them closely. The comotion made it perfect. She had always watched at the boarders, respectfully staying off their territory. But now they owned nothing, as Cederpaw had stated. So now she felt that she could go and merge into the mass of cats and maybe even talk to a few. Of coarse, some cats may remember her because she lurked so close to the boarder for so long. She didn't plan on joining, just watching very closely. She now neared the clan at the tree. it seemed they were worried about some missing kits, and a few others that failed to show. She silently made her way to the base of the tree, nonchalantly watching the other cats as they worried about missing clanmates.

Spotting an almost familiar white pelt she stood up and walked into the grass. "May I help you?" She asked the cat sitting in the grass.

Eaglestar's eyes narrowed with concern, seeing nobody but Raccoonstrike behind her. The leader wanted to run out and look for the missing kits, but she knew she shouldn't leave her clan. She turned back to the others. "Cloudstrike, you already volunteered. Anyone else? We've got two missing kits out there, and we need to find them and bring them back." She didn't notice the unfamiliar white she-cat walk in among the crowd.

Sorrelkit paused in the grass, the rumbling now a near earthquake as the monster rumbled towards her. Fear raced through her, but so equally did excitement. Her body trembled with it and she twitched her tail back and forth as she prepared to launch herself aboard the monster. For she had just spotted a tiny opening. She hunched her hind leg, her small frame deadly serious as she prepared to leap.

Then she jumped.

Grey caught the kitten in his jaws and he meant her in midair, landing safely away from the car. She squirmed and kicked, shrieking madly and trying to claw at his face. "Relax little warrior. Your fight will come much later in life." He said sternly, his voice muffled through her fur in his mouth. She went limp, glaring at the ground beneath his feet. Padding away from the monster, Grey set off at a clam, ground eating lope towards the frightened clan. How intriguing. He thought, laughing quietly. He paused as he drew near the clan. "Why aren't you frightened?" The young kit asked, a petulant slant in her chin. Grey laughed at her pouting face. "I have seen many 'monster' like these before. I have seen so many, and have even been inside one. They are nothing to fear as long as you remain outside of their wheels." He said, smiling softly. The kit sighed and Grey drew up towards the clan. "Eaglestar." He called out, spotting the leader. Despite the kit hanging from his jaws, her paralyzed leg tucked awkwardly against her stomach, his voice carried easily throughout the camp. It was obvious he wasn't flustered in the least. "I believe you lost something." He said, mildly amused. It was obvious that he was the calmest cat of the group.

The little ginger tom struggled to his paws. "I do Eaglestar." he meowed, hid loud voice reconizesable over the roar of the jiant monster. He wanted to prove he could still be loyal, even if FireClan was gone forever. His scorched fur and burns still fresh. His wounds were pink with the promise of scaring soon. His fur would never grow back in those places, but it didn't seem to both him.

Songpaw laied under a bush, keeping herself hiden, watching to see what was going on, I wish there was something I could do. if only I wasn't so scared. she said to herself.

Frostwing shook her fur and flicked her tail, looking around. Two kits were missing, that wasn't good. "I'll help." She seemed to blurt out without thinking things through. That wasn't smart, and the white feline was starting to regret what she said. However, there was two kits out there, face to face with a monster. That wasn't good, and Frostwing knew she would be terrified if a monster was coming right at her. And these were kits. "I'll be safe, I promise." She murmured quietly to the leader, still feeling shy and intimidated around her.

Looking out to where the makeshift camp was, Frostwing took in a breath and headed for it swiftly, ears pricked and eyes darting everywhere. "Stormkit! Sorrelkit! Come here!"

Hearing his mentor's frantic voice, Spiderpaw quickly darted too him and spat out the marigold he had gotten from the den. "Shiverwhisker! I had to grab them, in case anyone got hurt. I was almost trapped too! But I got them, I did, I don't know if I got enough though. I'm sorry for taking the risk." The brown apprentice's words were rushed and slurred because of his fear of the monster, but he tried to stay tough.

Sephora purred smoothly as a she-cat asked her may I help you she tilted her head at the smell of herbs on her pelt.
"I don't believe I need help. I'm not hurt in any sense. I'm sure other cats would need your help much more that I would"
Her tail motioned to the cats around her. She calmly watched Appleleaf, her expression showing nothing but her calm attitude. She ran her tongue over her left paw, still watching Appleleaf. Her gaze was almost intense as if followed the medicine cat. She then rose slowly, her tail sweeping over the ground that was just beneath her. Without further extending the pause she said
"Is there anything I can help you with?"

Leah watched from the shadows as a small kit ran towards at the monster. What is she doing? thought the rogue, wondering if she should try to stop her. The kit leaped, and Leah jerked forwards, not entirely sure what she intended to do. Before Leah could do any more than that, though, a grey tom appeared, snatching the kit out of thin air and landing safely away from the monster. Leah hadn't even heard him coming over the roar of the monster--the monster she'd barely avoided getting run over by. Her shoulder stung where she'd fell after rolling out of the way. She watched them go, thoroughly confused.

"Loudpaw, you're injured." said Eaglestar, her voice sympathetic but firm. "Your time will come to help the clan. Once you heal--" she trailed off at the sound of a voice behind her. She saw a grey tom, his scent like that of a rogue, carrying one of their missing kits. "Sorrelkit!" she said, remembering the name as she saw the kit. "Thank you." she told the tom, looking up at him. "I don't think we've met," she said after a moment. "Though you seem to know my name."
