Raccoonstrike padded along the well-beaten path of the camp's entrance. His tail swung from side to side, his ears pricked and his chartreuse gaze calm as it drifted over his surroundings. He sauntered fully into the clearing, nose twitching. He was in a rather good mood at the moment, though he was unsure why. He supposed it was just the nice weather of new-leaf. With the sun shining through the leaves and a gentle breeze, he couldn't help but feel mildly euphoric. Just carefree, padding along.
The mottled tom froze as he nudged into something--or, someone, as it was a cat. Blinking and stepping back with slight surprise, he recognized Desertbloom. "Oh! M-my apologies." He stammered, jolted out of his reverie.

Claw hissed and kicked the other she-cat in the side when he felt her fangs. He threw Moonheart off and jumped to his paws, glowering at her.
Moonshade flew off Claw and into a tree. She hit it pretty hard, but she hardly felt it. She coughed and stood a little unsteadily. She wanted to make Morningdove leave too, for this was her fight and they had no clue what they were getting themselves in. But she didn't for some reason. She just walked back towards him, crouching.
Claw laughed and shook out his pelt. "You really think you can beat me?" he yowled at Morningdove. He pounced and landed on her back, biting her shoulder hard.
Moonshade screeched and pushed him off hard. He slashed at his face and hit him in the same spot with her thorn-sharp claws as he did to her. As he stumbled away painfully, she helped Morningdove up and whispered urgently in her ear, "Please, just go. I can do this. I know how he fights. I don't want Sunclaw to lose her real mother. It's better if you both go and I stay." Without waiting for an answer, she shot away from her side after giving her a gentle push and yowled at Claw as he started to get up.
Claw blinked, eyes huge, and reared onto his hind legs as Moonheart charged him. He hadn't had time to fight back, for she raced towards him a a great speed and he pushed violently against her; fore-paws of each of the pair pushing against their shoulders and claws digging in.
Moonshade's eyes were wild with a fire that seemed to have been blown out long ago and she snapped at Claw as the two stood up, pushing hard and batting at each other.
Claw ducked, avoiding her fangs and snapped back.
Moonshade hissed and pushed him back, causing him to fall onto his back. She leaped back onto him, raking her claws against his exposed belly and he screeched with rage. He kicked her off and she rolled away painfully.
She tried to slide away from him but he blocked her when he rammed up against her side and threw her onto the ground. With a cry of pain, she felt him bite her foreleg hard and she tried shaking him off. He held her down and pressed down hard, causing her to writhe harder, but feel more pain.
Moonshade shut her eyes in pain and tried to get away and snarled at him. But he was so much heavier. He wouldn't budge.

It took her a minute to react to the pain, but she refused to give up. The she-cat pushed forward and managed to shove the tom off of her friend. Rage had boiled inside of her for a long time, and she needed a way out. A bite situated her into the tom's fur, and this was her chance to taste blood. It was much needed and she was desperate.

{Kill her. I'm starting to seriously hate her!}

Sunclaw sprang forward, slashing Claw's side. "No! I won't leave you!" She needed to protect her mothers. Her two mothers. The calico she-cat jumped, clinging to Claw desperately.[/color]

Moonshade yowled at Morningdove, "GO Morningdove!" She pushed her away to the side the moment before Claw was able to turn his head around and latch his jaws along the other she-cat's neck.
He growled in frustration and tried again on Moonheart this time, but she was faster than him. His eyes boiled with rage. He threw Sunclaw off with an irritated yowl.
"Sunclaw!" Moonshade pushed Morningdove farther and let out a battle cry as Claw charged her back. He tried to overpower her by pushing her down but Moonshade never gave up on a fight; especially when it came to battling the cat who ruined her life. She snapped down hard at his paw when it came flying towards her head.
Claw screeched in pain and reeled away, but the dark grey tabby had a grip as tight as his. He swatted her across the muzzle and she let go painfully.
Moonshade smashed into him at once, ramming her head into his belly and he landed on his side hard. She stood, panting in the dust that had been torn up and lashing her bristled tail. Then her shattered eyes widened as she smelled more rogues. Before she was able to react, two big toms, one ginger and the other black, held her down. She writhed around in panic and tried to break free and snarled in their faces. She yowled in anguish as one dug his claws into her skin and bit her shoulder blade really hard. It bled at once.
Claw stood, panting, and smiled. With a flick of his tail, the ginger tom pinned Sunclaw down quickly. They were all huge and their claws and fangs were extra sharp.
Moonshade yowled in grief. "CLAW! Why are you doing this?! Just leave them alone! Take me! Leave Sunclaw and Morningdove be!" She didn't give up on struggling, but it was no use now; she was injured badly and getting tired.
Claw laughed and lowered his head so he was a whisker's length away from her muzzle. "I wish you didn't think things were that simple.." he mocked her, and narrowed his eyes, pinning Morningdove down hard and dug his claws in hard. His glowing, evil eyes stared at Moonshade, not even focusing on his victim. He smiled horribly, watching as Moonshade was tortured yet again by him.
Moonshade started to feel the energy return at her friend being threatened. "Morningdove!" She clamped her jaws on the tom's neck, only missing the killing blow by an inch, and he reeled away, yowling in pain. She got up at once and shot towards Morningdove, but the tom wasn't stupid. He raced after her across the shore and leaped on top, causing her to yelp in pain as she smashed back onto the ground with him on top. "NO!"

Pain shot through the she-cat, erupting in her shoulders. This might be it, these might be her last seconds. "Sunclaw, I've always loved you," She whispered before slipping into the ever deepening vacant blackness. Her eyes closed and she finally fell asleep. Forever.

Sunclaw stopped lashing out at Claw, stumbling away from the fight. "Morningdove?" She whispered, voice cracking. Sunclaw reeled back as Moonshade and Claw rolled across her path, hissing wildly. The young warrior sprang away to Morningdove's side. Tears squeezed themselves out of her eyes as she bent lower. "Morningdove? Please, please. Wake up. You have to tell Foxchaser too. He doesn't know! Please, Mor-morn-" She choked with tears.

Claw leaped off Morningdove, inspecting his claws, now tainted with her blood. "Huh, that was easier than I had thought." He glared at Moonshade, as if he'd won.
Moonshade's eyes were as wide as an owl's. It was happening again. He was killing her loved ones right in front of her. "NOOO!" she yowled loudly as she saw Morningdove's eyes close. "MORNINGDOVE!" She can't be dead! Not here.. not now!! Her heart pounded fiercely, and seeing Sunclaw standing there in her own horror made Moonshade angry. She felt something surge through her and tears poured out of her eyes now. She leaped up, throwing the shocked tom off her with unnatural force, and trampled Claw.
CLaw yowled in bewilderment, and found he couldn't move. Moonshade wouldn't let go and her angry face was close to his; snarling. Then the other tom who'd had Sunclaw pounced on Moonshade, pushing her down.
"GET OFF!" she snarled. She writhed around but froze in surprise and pain when he pushed his paw against her neck, choking her. She gasped for air feebly, with only one thought coursing through her mind now: I have to save Sunclaw.
Claw grinned widely and stood, shaking his pelt. He prowled towards a vulnerable Sunclaw, towering over her.
"No!" Moonshade began, but broke off when she felt her neck being pushed harder and she coughed hard. "Sun..." she couldn't form words now. The third was making his way too.
The other rogue stood, panting, and stood beside his leader, growling at Sunclaw.
Moonshade lay in pain, pinned down hard and losing air. Her eyes were wide with fear and anger and grief. She wished Claw had just killed her, and left Sunclaw be.

Due to the length that Claw had been away, Hollow had sent some more rogues to help him. It was only for back up if he needed it, and some extra protection. Plus, a few cats knew of the kits. After licking each kit thoroughly, she finally decided on another name. Shadow. They all flowed well together and had a nice ShadowClan-rogue vibe to them. Hopefully her mate would approve of all of the names. Soon her kits may be living in a new place, a new home.

Sunclaw realized what was happening a split second before it happened. She leaped aside, fur fluffed up in fright, thinking, I'm just a kit. Old enough to be a warrior, maybe, but inside I'm just a kit. Please. Don't let me be killed. She sprang at Claw's back, digging her claws into his flesh before scrambling away. Moonshade was trapped, she was outnumbered, Things did not look good.
