Sootnose seemed to brighten up instantly once Nightpaw came over. "Good morning Nightpaw." she replied cheerfully. Sootnose had never had a chance to be proud of anything she'd ever done. She'd never felt like she'd accomplished anything until she'd gotten Nightpaw as an apprentice. And she was beyond proud of how far he'd come. "I was going to test you on a few things. See if theres any need for improvement on any of the last few things." she said. "We could bring another apprentice and possibly their mentor along if you'd like? To practice battle training on unless you want to just do it with me?" she offered.

Shadowstep nodded slowly before he tilted his head "You alright?" he asked. He frowned slightly "You seem a little nervous.. Did I do something?" when was he going to feel less awkward and nervous around Hazelmoon? Surely by now this should be over with and he should be comfortable around her..

Rainypaw giggled slightly and offered her a small shrug "I guess so, I mean it is a lot to learn. Sunfeather and I went to the twoleg place recenty to get catmint, i've never been there before and Stormypaw said he hadn't gone yet. So that was pretty cool!" she said. "Not sure when we'd go back, I heard there were rogues around.. Which puts me in a tough spot. I don't really know any fighting moves. You guys spend so long practicing those and perfecting them I might trip over my own paws. Cloudypaw and Stormypaw were always better at it when we were play fighting as kits." she said.

Stormypaw looked surprised "Well that was easy." he murmured to Spiritwhisker before he sat down between the two warriors, glancing between them. He hadn't really gotten a chance to see his mentor and his assigned mate interact much. It made him worry more about being assigned himself but he didn't say anything about that, at least not to them.
