The kittypet leaped onto the kitchen table before scrambling beneath the curtain and into the windowsill. With a yawn, he lay down and watched the forest as it swayed in the gentle breeze.

The fæ began to pad up a steep but short slope as she followed the path her and Oakflower used to follow. Lilypaw's chest tightened as her paw slipped into a dint in the grass. The pawprint was larger than her own, but it was impossible for it to belong to Oakflower since she hadn't been here for a moon or so. Suddenly the medicine cat apprentice felt fur brush against her and a familiar scent drifted towards her. Lilypaw looked beside her but saw nothing except the fern fronds curling over her back.

The white Maine Coon looked to the direction of the cats house before padding in that direction. After a few short minutes, the warrior reached the place where many twoleg structures were at. She gave a small smile before padding up to the one Arthur lived in. Dovesplash made it to the place before padding around the house to see if Arthur was looking out the window again.
