Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

Finchblossom jolted away, bolting upright with his eyes wide in a panic and his pelt puffed as Jadeeye's paw caught on his tail. His breathed heavily, startled, and didn't calm down much when he saw who it was. Nonetheless, the brown tom did his best to compose himself, however unable to keep the frightened tremor from his voice. "I-I'll accompany you, Jadeeyes," he gulped. He feared that Thunderclan's apprentice population was so low that there would be none left, and with no kits in the nursey until Windsong kitted, the future of Thunderclan was doomed.

Taking a step back, jadeeye nods gratefully. "Thank you finchblossom." Her voice was still borderline threatening, but she lowered her voice. "Do you have any idea where she could have gone? Did her and moonpaw ever go anywhere?" A few seconds later she turns. "Whatever.. If you're hungry, you may eat first. But please make it quick.." If night paw was okay, the longer they waited the higher chance she wouldnt.

Goldenfeather awoke in a sweat, his mind hazy and confusion clouding his eyes. As he focused on the den around him, he stretched and shook his pelt out with a sigh. He got to his paws, his gaze looming over his mate for a moment, silently wishing Flinteyes would wake up and they could go hunting together. That wish crumbled as he heard the slightly paniced mews outside.

He walked outside, his ears perked and his eyes widened. "What happened?" he mewed, quickly rushing forward to Jadeeyes and Finchblossom.

Nightpaw had still stayed where she was. Her heart was still beating quite quickly as she tried to calm down. Who could though after going through a near-death experience? The she-cat took another deep breath in as she thought about what had just happened. Does this mean that the murderer is still in the clan? She thought in her head quietly. She shook her head quickly and tried to convince herself it was simply mother nature though deep down she knew that was false. Nightpaw knew she should go to camp, as her clanmates would worry for her, though she was still in shock and simply stayed still, the mud and rainwater in her pelt. Though she knew one thing, she was grateful to whoever had saved her life.

Jadeeye closes her eyes. "Night paw went missing in the night. We're going to go look for her, and if needed, any signs of the killer" She sat down and licked her paw, trying to not be so stressed

Breezefire jolted awake, remembering her precious daughter was taken away from her. She padded outside to the clearing to grab a piece of pre- Nightpaw went missing? Breezefire thought, overhearing a few warriors speak. "May I come along? I may not be that much of a help, but I need to be sure my daughter is safe, and I need to get some herbs." she said, rushing her words a little bit. Why would anyone want to kill even more apprentices?

Meows and yowls sounded near the den, forcefully waking the black tabby warrior. Yewbriar grumbled before she padded out of the den, hearing discussion of missing Nightpaw and a patrol. A small group of cats was already surrounding Jadeeye, and the black tabby pushed her way through. "I can come along and help, too-- if you don't mind, I mean."

Goldenfeather's eyes widened. Nightpaw was missing?
"We should head out right away."
