Pineclaw didn't answer right away, finally spotting Stonepaw across the clearing. The apprentice was playing with a kit--not one he recognized, but there were so many running around these days. He could hardly keep track of them all. "Ah, he seems to be having fun." decided Pineclaw after a moment. "I'll take him out when the sun sets, teach him a bit about hunting in the dark. For now, I think it'll be fine with just the two of us. I don't expect trouble."

The Senior Warrior nodded, following the fellow Warrior's gaze.
"Yeah he does, doesn't he? Ah, the days of an apprentice." She smiled, standing up.
"That sounds like a fun lesson." Sorreldash opened her mouth briefly, checking the weather; nothing was out of the ordinary.
"Nah, I think it'll be one of those simple patrols. Good thing, too; we haven't had one of these in a while." She stood up, tilting her ears slightly in question.
"Where should we head off to first to check?"

and forest-green eyes.

Eaglestar sat in the shadows a few fox-lengths away from the dark apprentice, watching over him. An echo of his thought drifted towards her, and for a moment she wanted nothing more than to approach and comfort him. But what could she say? And even if she knew, she didn't know how he'd react to the intrusion. He had said he wanted to be alone. So she stayed where she was, alert for any sign of Grinner or the rogue who had helped him. She would not let either of them near Duskpaw again. Not if she could help it.

I sighed. "Dust..don't be climbing trees, not just yet." Dust was trying to climb a tree, currently. I removed him from the trunk gently and set him on the ground. I swept him back to the area I had constructed, placing sticks in the ground. I set him inside with Ginger, who was clawing up a leaf. "Ginger, Dust; Don't leave the area, and if anybody comes by, hide in the stump." I instructed. They nodded. I padded off, sniffing the air. A scent of mouse lingered nearby, but I needed something bigger. Maybe a bird, or a rabbit. I shrugged and kept going. "Hmm.." I swiveled my ears around to detect the slightest noise. I screeched slightly upon stepping on a sharp thorn. "Great. Just great." I muttered.

Skylark didn't know what to do, the deputy and Eaglestar were both gone. Who could she tell? She would have to shout it out to the clan? The raccoon batted then chased after Sunpelt, but on slow unsteady paws. Azula was sprawled out along the ground, she heard a noise and climbed up a tree. Looking down she seen a Tom running with a raccoon running at him. The she cat raced off leaving Smba. She lunged sinking her claws into the Raccoon's flesh. Then winked at Sunpelt.

Pistachio yowled in surprise as she leaped at him, he rolled back on the ground and batted at her gently. His claws sheathed. The Tom rolled over as he purred gently then looked into her eyes. Something about Sprucepaw interested Pistachio very much, he swished his white tail with splashes of black.

I sighed. "Darn it." I swished my tail irritability, cursing my clumsiness. I kept walking with a slight limp. I scented a sparrow and crouched, light on my feet and flat to the ground. My tail curled around my leg as I stalked forward, eyes narrowed at the bird on the root. I opened my jaw a bit, it's scent flooding my mouth fluidly. I unsheathed my claws and crept forward. I pounced, killing it easily. I tucked it under a few leaves and twigs.
