Shadow That Dances at Night
"Leave? Why would we leave when we have full control now?" he murmured quietly in disbelief to primarily Turtle. Did the tribe not understand what was taking place? Shadow was now going to be their leader, and he planned on promoting Turtle to his status for all the help she had been. The tom glanced upwards at the sky, eyes narrowing as the sun slowly made its trek downward from its highest point. He heard a few retorts, especially from one particular apprentice, but everyone seemed to be handling it almost calmly? Had they expected this to happen?

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
"If we fight, kits, queens, apprentices, elders . . . all would be at risk. They need to be protected above all, and if it means that I have to leave, then so be it. Their life will always be more important than mine. If we were farther from the camp, perhaps a fight would have worked, but they know the basis of the camp now. They are among us, within the boundaries, and there is not much we can do now. Work with Gaze and find out the truth." he murmured under his breath in response to Fire, glancing warily towards Gaze as he did so. Tempest was still going to be exiled, he knew, but he felt powerful having Gaze within the camp to protect them. He knew he could count on Gaze to look after the tribe until the danger had passed.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
"Cloud? I haven't seen them! Maybe we could go hunting together or something? That way, whenever Cloud gets backed, they will be super impressed with you!" she commented when the idea came to her, eyes lighting up with the opportunity. Hunting and fighting were not her strong suits, but she was not completely helpless when it came to it. Even a blind squirrel could find a nut every once and a while, right? The tabby apprentice silently hoped Minnow would say yes. Despite the fact she was trying to make Tide jealous, she felt it was nice to socialize with her fellow apprentices as well.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream did not comment on Crow's statements. She even felt a pang of sympathy for the apprentice, as she had the guts to say what everyone else was feeling. The she-cat held back a sigh, casting a mournful glance towards those gathered in the clearing. Stream had a good idea what was going to be said at the meeting at sunset. It would also possibly be the last time she ever saw her half-brother Tempest. No, I will not let that happen . . . he will come back -- sooner or later.
