The Exile wrote:Poppykit was whining. "Where's Lillyfoot?" She cried.
Raineyes was soothing her with long, gentle licks.
"I'm going to take care of you now." She murmured
softly. "But I want mama!" The kit screeched, flailing
her limbs everywhere. Raineyes finally decided to get
a poppyseed for her, so she called out to a cat walking
by and asked if they could keep an eye on Poppykit.
When Raineyes arrived at the medicine cat's den,
Blossom sky gave her a weird look before speaking.
"What do you want?" The medicine cat asked. "uh,
a poppyseed for Poppykit. She won't settle down"
Raineyes replied. Without speaking, Blossomsky
pushed a poppyseed towards the queen and left
into the depts her den.
Raineyes had given Poppykit her poppyseed, and the
she-kit was sleeping. "Could all cats please gather?"
It was Foxstar. Raineyes gulped. Another exile.
"Raineyes. You will be exiled." Foxstar's words pierced
her heart like ice. She shuffled her feat nervously before
nodding, as if saying she understood "If thats what you
want..." But before any cat could even move, Poppykit
bursted out of the nursery. She had woken up, and had
been listening to the hole conversation. "You can't exile
Raineyes!" She cried out. "She's the only one left to take
care of me!" She did have a point. But the clan had voted
for her to leave. "Poppykit, I have to go." Raineyes spun
around and raced out the camp entrance. Your kits. a
voice spoke inside her. "My kits. They need a clan." She was
turning towards WindClan, but a rock tripped her. Raineyes
fell and lay motionless on the ground, blood pooling near her
head.
Not just the life of a queen was lost today. Now who will take care of
Poppykit, RiverClan? Maybe the innocent are a bit less innocent then
they seem...
The Kill wrote:The river had finally began to go down. The sun was
setting, but it was still quite nice out. Cloudfrost
was attempting to catch something before heading
back to camp. He was enjoying himself though.
The sun on his back, a gentle breeze blowing in his
fur, what could be better? A few fish swam by slowly,
obviously enjoying the nice water. In a flash Cloudfrost
swiped his paw into the water, and a fish flew into the
air, followed by several beed-like drops of water. The
tom made a quick and neat kill. This fish might be good
for Poppykit, or One-eye, or even a warrior. He picked
up his catch, and began to head toward camp. The
walk back would be nice. A bird chirped in the distance.
The bird would be heading home too. But Cloudfrost
doubted that the bird had to live in fear. There was no
murderer running around in their next. Their friends
and family were not being killed or exiled one by one.
No big deal. Cloudfrost told himself. They had to have
exiled the murderer this time. He sped up a bit, just
incase it got dark out before he got to camp. But
as the warrior saw the camp , a shadow loomed over
him. Had the sun gone down? he turned around
slowly. Nope.
A cat stood infront of him, blocking the warmth of the
sun. All he felt now was dread. They bared their teeth,
and unsheathed their claws. Too petrified to fight back,
Cloudfrost ran. He ran as fast as he could. But the
murderer was gaining on him. They managed to
slice a deep cut in the warrior's shoulder, but it
wasn't enough. He ran and ran, a trail of blood falling
behind him. Letting out a shrill screech, Cloudfrost
ran off at a breath taking pace, the camp was just
pawsteps away. But suddenly... oof.
Cloudfrost had tripped on a jagged rock. He fell
with a loud thud, hitting his head on stone. The
river turned red as another Clanmate left to join
StarClan.
Another attempt from the murder, RiverClan! Watch out!
