Sparrow paused, panting. She glanced back over her shoulder, and continued running. Sparrow was hurting by the time she stopped running away.

*Disappointment surged through Mistyclaw.*

"I mean, yeah, I knew I'd like you ever since you walked through the entrance of our camp..."

*The same empty feeling hollowed out Mistyclaw*

"I mean, I guess if you don't... That's okay. I'll just... leave."

*She bounded out of the vines, heading the opposite direction of camp*

"Spottedleap! I don't know how to heal you! You were the only one who knew! Spottedleap!"

*he licked at Spottedleap's ears*

spottedleap was silent, blood gushing through a gash in her neck. her chest rose and fall, her breath staggering.

[PopcornWaffle]

"Spottedleap! Please!"

*Stonestar wailed helplessly. I don't know how to use herbs!*

*He licked at the gash on her neck, gagging at the taste of blood*

spottedleap's eyes fluttered open, her large amber hues clouded over. "is... how are you and owlfeather?" she purred, though it barely came out as a whisper. her eyes trailed to her father, and widened in shock. "b-berrystump," she rasped.

Pikeflower had been about to reply when she left. The tom gave a soft, low growl of frustration. Why did she run off and not stay to talk things through? He hated when cats ran from their problems like that even though he was sure he had done the same thing at least once in his life. He began to trot off towards camp but he was not about to race after Mistyclaw if she decided to run from him again once they were back.

Sparrow grimaced and twisted to kick at the wounds on her back and shoulders.

"I'm not Owlfeather, i'm Stonestar! Spottedleap! Please stay with me!"

*He continued licking at the wound on her neck*

*Mistyclaw looked around, searching for someplace to go. She realized there was no place to go and started padding back to camp.*

"I don't want to face him... He'll think I'm a little kit."

Pikeflower managed to get to camp before Mistyclaw since he hadn't stopped like she had. He quickly scanned the clearing to see if he could catch sight of her but when he didn't spot her he went inside the warriors den. Unsurprisingly she wasn't inside there either. He decided to curl up inside his nest figuring that she had to come inside sooner or later.
