Nightwhisper nodded in sympathy. "I'm sorry." He said quietly. "That must've been awful." He knew he was lucky, in the past he had been lonely, but nothing bad had ever happened to him like something had happened to Ivysong. "Don't worry. In this clan, we like you just the way you are." He said, a little awkardly.

"No problem." Featherpaw said cheerfully. "I like doing this stuff. Anything to help heal my Clan!"

Ivysong smiled, "It wasn't that bad, considering other's past's, but I'm never going back there." She looked at him, her amber eyes soft, and she leant over and licked his cheek. "Thanks." she whispered, purring softly.

"Weel that's good!" Littletree replied, "You will make an excalent medicine cat one day."

"Thanks!" Featherpaw said excitedly. He was a little hyper today, and couldn't help but give a little bounce.

Nightwhisper began to purr, looking into Ivysong's eyes. "I hope you don't. I wound miss you." He said softly.

She smiled and put her forhead to his, "I would miss you too."

Littletree smiled and walked back into the medicine cat's den. "Do you remeber where these herbs go?" she asked him

"I think so.." Featherpaw said. "These go here." He said pointing with his tail, "And those go there. And the celadine goes in to far back corner, right?"

Nightwhisper felt himself blush a little as he mumbled, "Well.. umm.. I was wondering.. uhh.. if you.." He trailed off, blushing. Did Ivysong like him as much as he liked her? They had just met, would she really want to be his mate so soon? It was probably better not to ask.

"well done!" she said, putting the herbs she was carrying in the right places.

She closed her eyes and purred, enjoying the shade of the trees, the soft grass beneath her pelt, the wind angainst her face, and the company of Nightwhisper.

Featherpaw purred with happiness. "Thanks!" He said.

Nightwhisper tried to find the words to explain how he felt, but he couldn't. It was just.. strange for him, after so long, to finally meet a cat who he didn't have to be wary of, who he could trust. As a loner, he had never met cats like Ivysong.

Ivysong eventually, opened her eyes, "We should get going, I can smell badger..."

((Haha ik.. How cheesy! xD)) Nightwhisper sniffed the air, there was a faint scent of badger. "You're right. Let's go." He said to Ivysong.

Ivysong stood up and continued to walk in the direction they were before they stopped, keeping a look out for 2any prey along the way.
