Let's show them how to live; accept the pain, always forgive.
Watch the sun go down, learn the sound of following, all that's complete.
Chain made a mad dash through town, his muscles bounding under his fur. All he wanted was food, was it really all that big of a deal? Of course it was with those stupid humans sulking around. The last to survive and they wanted to keep it that way, well they'd soon die and Chain could get into their food all he wanted. As Chain was making this brilliant escape he heard the sounds of fighting and decided to follow them.
All to his dismay, he saw another dog much to soon. A border collie from the looks of it, but Chain couldn't bother himself with females right now. He was edging close to her now and before he collided with her, he stretched his legs as far as he could to leap over her, quite the feat for him. Once that was over with, he landed roughly on the ground, "Sorry!" He shouted the word over his shoulder as he dashed down into the waterways. Perhaps that would be safe. No one liked it down there.
Once down below, Chain continued his dash through the system with his body close to a wall. Of course, there was another dog down here too. This dog though, Chain hadn't expected as much as he'd expected the other one. Chain pulled his head and muscles back, sliding across the slippery ground toward his dog. The collision didn't hurt so much, it was more of a light tap, but Chain instinctively set himself close to the ground in a more.. less dominant position, "Wow, um, sorry. I mean, I just didn't--Shut up!" His head snapped around toward his tail and a snarl could be heard from the pit bull. Quickly after those words, Chain's attention was pulled to Canon again, "Sorry.. Again."
