But, she realized he had been up on night duty, and he was likely trying to catch a wink of sleep after having stayed up the whole night. "Oh, that's right. He was up guarding the camp last night," she explained to the apprentices. "Well, we can wait for him, or maybe we can go find another warrior to help out? Do you guys have any suggestions?" Kestreldawn didn't think she could really train two apprentices, but she also didn't want Leafpaw to just sit out for an entire morning.

It took the better part of his morning to groom out his pelt, but it seemed like a good day to run a little behind. He made a look around for Ashbelly when Maplepaw mentioned about her "hmm, yes, you're right Ashbelly is going for a patrol it seems oh well, maybe later than...or another day" he meowed to Maplepaw. He gave a nod to Hawkclaw but didn't really respond any as there were so many cats approving that he got a little confused, watching around the apprentices feeling odd than none of them were not involved with the patrols even if their mentors were going. He turned to Wolfpaw "yes, we can practice that move and Maybe I could show you something more as well" he meowed to him.

Narrowing his ears over to the two upcoming voices from the two siblings Acornpaw and Featherpaw, making his paws to cover his ears for all that giggling he could hear all the way to the warrior's den 'seriously, why the younger cats are always so loud in mornings?' he thought himself sighing.
